Saved from an expensive vet bill!
We adopted a six month old Romanian puppy recently and she came to us with the worst dog PTSD I've ever seen. There are worse cases out there but this girl was pretty bad at the start. She was so frightened she would not leave her crate and would hold her toileting needs FAR longer than was safe or appropriate for her age. When she did toilet she would produce truly foul diarhhea that was obviously causing her to have stomach cramps given the strange hunching and straining she would do before and after toileting. Initially I gave her a course of the Tummy Settler in the hopes that it would get her through her initial 2-3 days, but we then had to change her food as we realised the foster home had sent us away with adult food which she didn't even like or want to eat. So, I put her onto a far higher quality dog biscuits and meat combo, both with probiotics and prebiotics, then started using this at the same time to get her through the transition and try to settle those nasty cramps and runs! We've been using it for two weeks straight now and she is a different dog entirely. Her stomach is no longer making audible noises on the regular and has settled now she's on an age appropriate food that she actually wants to eat. She has no problems tolerating the powder at all and hasn't seemed reluctant to eat it when mixed into her meat and biscuits. Within two days of starting this powder treatment she became playful and happy, affectionate and eager to learn new tricks. In the first week she had a couple of incidents of slightly runny stools but this second week we've not seen a single runny stool unless she has been seriously frightened by a sudden loud noise (happened once when a neighbour dropped a pallet or something heavy onto their paving stones). After the bad start in life my girl's had, knowing that she ate rubbish and scraps from the street then was fed on cheap food (if at all) in the kill pound, I am aware that her gut biome has not had the best start in life. This is important and crucial as it compromises such a large part of our immune and nervous system. So, I wanted to repair the damage that had been done to her gut with such a bad start in life and get her intestines populated with all the good stuff. It's working! How do I know? Her gas is almost non existant now and when she does pass wind it smells far less foul. Her stools are well formed, her energy levels are far higher, her coat has become glossy and thick, her focus has improved exponentially, her sleep is more restful with fewer disturbances (if any!), she can make it through the night without needing the toilet urgently anymore and her general wellbeing is 10 times better than it was on arrival. I don't know what might happen when this tub runs out, I am going to wean her off it slowly towards the end and see if she might be okay without it going forward, but as this can be given lifelong and it's such good value for money I don't see there being an issue if she needs to stay on it for longer. 10/10 will buy again. Also recommend keeping a bottle of the tummy settler on hand for emergency use, that's what we're doing because it really works!

Very good product
Been using this product for a couple of years on two of my dogs that showed different reflux symptoms- (post eating nose and lip licking that went on for hours, and random sicking up- not hunger puke) It has stopped the symptoms completely.

Effective but pricey
The price of this has gone up considerably over the last 5 years but it does help my dog with his gut, so I'll continue using.

Worked for us!
For the past three or four years our Lakeland terrier had developed a random “bubbly tummy”. If it happened it was always around 4am, loud gurgling noises from her tummy would wake us all up. She would go outside and eat grass frantically, then come inside and do “play-bows” which looked like she was trying to ease tummy discomfort. She would tremble and shake all over. This would last for a few hours and she’d not eat all day. This didn’t happen every day or even each week, it was random, but always at roughly the same time during the night. We changed her diets but to no avail. The vet has no idea what causes it. I’d read the reviews for this product and thought we’d give it a go. I sprinkle some powder onto her food every morning (she likes the taste). Since we bought the product in mid October (we’re now 10th Jan), she’s had no other episodes. No bubbly tummy, nothing. I have no reason to doubt that the probiotics have worked a treat and have managed to calm her tummy and prevent any recurrence. On that evidence I can recommend.

Works for my dog,
I’ve given it several weeks to try in my dog’s diet as I wanted to see how it works for her. She didn’t like it sprinkled on her normal food (fussy) but she’s really keen to lap it up if mixed with a little water after eating. My dog has a veterinary identified intolerance to a lot of foods that are part of a “normal domestic dog” diet. She’s been on a restricted diet for about 8 years, but there’s always been episodes of flare ups which to be frank involve lots of frequent, runny poo or a walk with long bouts of strained poo-walking. Those who have a dog with a sensitive tummy will know what I mean. She’s also very itchy, the cause hasn’t yet been identified but it’s likely to be a diet thing as much as anything else she’s been in contact with. My dog can suffer from a catastrophic effect of intolerance, meaning a strong dose of steroids to alleviate the constant diarrhoea. I was recommended to try this, I don’t think it’s a massive expense but I was dubious about any benefits. However it’s definitely a keeper in my dogs diet, she is still itchy but it’s really reduced her needs for constant scratching. And let’s just say that I can pick up all bits of her poos now; she’s a “normal” poo dog. That’s been the biggest difference: normal poo. Thoroughly recommended for sensitive tummies.
