Very impressed
Very impressed with this projector and for what I paid for it.. i wont ever watch a movie on a tv when I'm at home.. the sound quality was good and boy did it go loud with no distortion. No doubt I could spend a lot more and get a better projector but for what it has cost me it's value for money!!

Fake reviews. Terrible image quality, very noisy fan.
Most of the reviews for this product are fake. For comparison we have a five year old reputably branded, but by no means high-end, projector in the lounge. This was purchased as a secondary projector for a bedroom. The image quality from this product is extremely poor - either the centre or the outer edges can be in focus at once, but not at the same time. Even when focused image quality doesn't come close to resembling 1080p, more like VHS. The colours are also extremely washed out. On top of that the fan is considerably louder than the fan in the other projector.I've returned this item and purchased the current model of the other projector. Definitely not worth trying to save £200!

Not happy
I have been using this projector for almost 2 months now. It has very good picture quality but unfortunately the lens can't focus properly across whole screen. The left and right edges are a bit blurry. I have also noticed recently that there is a darker spot showing up on the screen, a few minutes after the projector gets switched on. The spot takes about 6% - 8% of the screen and I think it gets darker over time. Very annoying.

It's ok (just) for the money
I do have a high end projector in my front room and this one was bought as a bedroom projector. It's ok for the £140 I payed. It's just a shame that you cant focus the picture across the screen.Because over all the picture is not that bad.Regarding the noisey fan, which is very loud, I wear headphones so it's not a problem.

A poor solution to an increasingly expensive problem
Projectors are not known to be cheap, in fact they are classed as the luxury in our day and age. So when I saw one that was only £160, I had to snap it up. But sadly, this performed worse than you'd expect for the money. TL;DR: I would not recommend this for anyone looking to use this for anymore than showing some photos on a larger screen. The projector itself is solidly built, its plastic construction and glossy plastic give a slight cheapness feel to it but it does withstand some bumps and is a good chassis. The box comes with a variety of cables and all the bits you need to get you started with a home theatre setup which is great. The bulb is LED which allows for long lasting playback as well as supposedly bright - which we will get to in a bit.Turning on the projector, you're greeted with the welcome screen and straight into sources. Focusing wasn't too bad on this device given that it was manually adjustable but was fiddly to say the least and a small bump to the projector would knock it off focus again. The keystone was existent but very poor and unfocused the images on the top, bottom and sides when it moved. The lens itself is quite cheaply made, and doesn't seem to provide much protection as I was able to scratch this easily. The brightness was a significant downfall, it was dim and even changing settings, it was still barely playable in a dark room. Only when the room was in pitch darkness did the picture seem okay, but the resolution countered that positive. The resolution being 1280 x 800 was acceptable on paper but on screen, it looked far worse than 720p especially given the poor colours, disappointing contrast and dismal brightness... did I mention the brightness? Marketed at "3500 Lumen" is a huge marketing ploy. While I couldn't measure this, comparing with other projectors with similar numbers put this one to shame. The speakers are decent enough for some sound but don't turn them too loud otherwise you'll be dissapointed. All in all, this was not worth the money in my mind. There are far better, 1080p options for a little more from the likes of Abox, Huremer and more other brands. My recommendation is to save up the little more for one of those or even better to save up a significant amount amount to buy a BenQ, Epson, Optoma, Acer or Viewsonic just to name a few of the very reputable brands on the market.
