Highly recommended... just what I wanted!
I bought this because it is simple, elegant, and looks to be made very well. Also the reviews here were so good.It took a very long time to arrive from Japan to the UK, but I must say that it is excellent. It fits just fine in the fridge door or big shelf. The filter part is very fine material and easy to clean. It is durable, and the process is easy to do.It is very tall and thin, which made me worry about knocking it over and breaking it. So far, so good.I have used it several times now, and it has produced excellent, smooth, rich coffee which never has bothered my stomach in the least. I have also had excellent success by making a second brew with the same coarsely ground beans. The brew is slightly lighter, but still very usable and delicious, without any hint of bitterness.Highly recommended!

Excellent Product and Great Value for Money
This product is the best, and easiest, way I’ve found of making delicious cold brew coffee.Just pop 80g of coarse ground (medium or dark roast) coffee into the filter. Add the filter to the jug then pour cold water onto the coffee, filling the jug to about 2cm from the top (I have the 1 litre) Then just leave in the fridge to brew for at least 12 hours. Once ready, remove the filter (it’s so easy to clean) and put your jug of cold brew concentrate back in the fridge. It normally lasts me a few days.Personally I love it mixed with normal milk or chocolate milk and some vanilla syrup for an amazing cold brew latte/mocha.If you like cold brew coffee I would recommend this product over any other I’ve tried, and I’ve tried a few.If you’ve decided to buy one, enjoy!

Epic quality iced coffee with minimal effort, straight from your own fridge.
Simple to use, easy to clean. Shop bought iced coffees will never taste as good again.Put ground coffee in the filter and slowly fill it up with cold water ( weights are in the supplied instructions, I put the whole thing on a scale so I can be accurate about it, but I don't get out much). Give the coffee a whisk with a chopstick (not supplied) and pop it in the fridge. The next day, remove the filter, and marvel at the strong, smooth, tasty coffee you have made. The end of the filter unscrews so it is easy to get rid of the used coffee grounds... you can dishwash the filter ( top rack, eco/ low temp wash). The glass jug is also dishwashable ( just take care that it doesn't fall over when you are loading/unloading the dishwasher). The only hard part is choosing which coffee blend is your favourite: Taylor's 'Easy Sunday' is super reliable and widely available, Percol are worth trying too. Yes, the 'artisan' coffees are great, but these simple machines make even supermarket blends taste really good (M&S Colombian Beans is another one worth a go).I use one of these for iced coffee and a Clever Dripper for hot coffee - both make coffee which is genuinely amazing.

Easy all in one package
The brand is Japanese and the instructions you recieve are in Japanese. After watching a youtube video and looking around online it was easy enough to use. It can be awkward to pour in the cold water at first as you get use to holding the coffee filter filled with coffee grounds.I went with 50 grams of coarsely ground coffee as it was medium to dark roast and let it sit for 24hrs in the fridge. Just like any cold brew the flavour is intense and no bitterness. Flavour will vary depending on the water and coffee beans you use. It's ease of cleaning is kind of mixed. The glass jug itself and the lid are easy to clean. The filter is the most difficult part. when you remove the coffee filter with the grounds in it after the steeping period you need to hold it over the jug to allow the coffee to drain out. Then let the filter to sit in the sink till it's drained. The twist bottom is fantastic to help put the coffee grounds into the food bin. However you won't get 100% of the grounds in there. Some will stick to the sides and it's easier to wash that down the sink. I hand washed everything so I don't know if you could safely put this in the washing machine. I would also treat this delicately as well if one part breaks it may render the whole jug useless.I'd recommend this to anyone who have restricted fridge space and don't want to make large amounts of cold brew all at once. If you want to make several litres you'd be better off getting cheese cloth and large glass jug. If you've never drank cold brew before then take note, the coffee produced is much stronger and the caffiene effect feels stronger. I wouldn't recommend drinking large glasses of this. Pour out maybe 100ml at a time.

Careful, it's glass!
My first one of these in red started the have issues with the filter after years of use. Pleased to see the price hasn't gone up in that time! I had to get a replacement sent as the first one arrived smashed but that's an anomaly and I don't think reflects on the quality as the replacement, and the very first one I bought, are absolutely fine. It's a good size, fits well in my fridge door. I usually leave it to brew for about 24 hours to be safe so it's not speedy, but it is delicious! Looks good as well.

Best cold brewer I have tried, and I have tried several....!
I’ve tried various cold brew coffee brewers and this is by far the best. Not as pretty or theatrical as the ones with fancy glass bulbs and slow drips, but definitely the one that makes the best coffee (and with the least effort too).Easy to use. Easy to clean. Reliable results every time. And makes great coffee. The coffee it makes is more concentrated than many of the more elaborate cold brew devices on the market (and needs to be diluted with hot or iced water in the normal way) but the coffee it makes is equally smooth and free of any hint of bitterness. This device has single handedly converted me to cold brew coffee and I use it almost daily. Yes you have to wait a while for the coffee to brew (I tend to leave it 18-24 hours) but it’s well worth the wait. And works just as well with cheaper coffee grounds as it does with much more expensive or rarer blends.Very highly recommended. If you like coffee then you have to give this one a try. You won’t regret it.
