I gave them a challenging review on the socket safety due to not conforming to BS (UK standards)We had a chat and they CHANGED THEIR DESIGN! They sent me a new one and it is fantastic. It has two sockets instead of three so they could fit the UK safety sockets (with shutters to protect little fingers touching the live terminal) This is a safety standard since the 1940’s but you’d be surprised how many sockets are sold without them.The electrics of this is also spot on from what I can see. Easy to install and still going strong a few months in.Congratulations Zeshan for listening to constructive feedback and putting it into practice redesigning the product to make it safer and better for the UK market.I can’t recommend this product more highly.Original review below:-I purchased the double sided product as I wanted more plugs (I was being greedy)The product functions well and no problems as I can tell with the movement up and down. There is a little movement when extended but I’ve found that with the non motorised ones as well so I don’t think this is a problem.If you know you will have very young children near this then I would advise you to buy one of the other Zeshan models with bigger plug sockets as they have the shutters in them and the double sided model does not. I spoke directly to the manufacturer about this and it is simply due to the compact nature of the product the larger UK sockets with the shutters to cover the live and earth do not fit. Something to hope to try and review in the future.I have a lot of respect for a company that engages in dialogue which has really lifted my appreciation for them.So, I would say if this is for a personal office or a kitchen island and you have older kids then this is a fantastic product that you will not get a similar one for anywhere near the same price.If you do have young children then I would discourage you from purchasing this model and have a look at the Zeshan 2 socket models , you can zoom in on the pictures and see the shutters in the sockets :) just look at other sellers items or visit sellers store.

Pop up plugs work well but wireless charger at top has stopped working. Very frustrating!

If you're in desperate need of some plug sockets/outlets in your kitchen or workspace, but have precious little work surface, then a 'pop up' plug socket is a relatively easy to install, sleek and modern way of getting extra sockets without them always eating into your usable space.The unit is powered via a 3 pin plug, so essentially just acts as an extension block (wire is only 5ft / ~1.5m, so plan ahead!). The touch capacitive power/operation (to make it eject and retract) is easy to operate, acting as both a fully on/off button (hold for 3 seconds), and the up/down button (single taps).The unit has a motor built in, which is what makes the sockets pop up and retract back down effortlessly with surpsinfly sturdiness, and the built-in outlets are:• 2 x 3-pin (250V 13A)• 2 x USB outlet (5V 2.1A)You'll want to double check measurements before purchasing (super convenient image with most important measurements in listing), as admittedly, I didn't fully appreciate how long/tall the entire unit would be when installed and risen (was fine after adjusting my plan slightly).Admittedly, this kind of solution isn't the most cost effective method, considering how cheap regular extension blocks are, but if you are willing to spend extra for a sleek, sturdy and unique outlet solution, then look no further!

I bought this Zeshan pop up socket to replace my broken Evoline pull up socket, which also kept falling down when you put a plug in it. This unit was the right size (to fit a 100/102mm hole), more compact and had the sockets I required. More importantly it was motorized, which meant it wouldn’t fall down when I put a plug in it. It takes about 5 seconds to switch on and rather than just tap it to pop up, I find you have to touch it for a couple of seconds and the light flashes as it pops up. I’ve never heard of this make before but it seems very well made and it works well. The only slightly negative thing is the four small blue lights on the top that stay on constantly (I assume to show the units plugged in), which I find unnecessary. However, I’m very pleased with the product.

The hole size is 100mm in which this fits. Works great and does exactly what it says 👍

Absolute rubbish. Poor build quality. Very wobbly. Looks nice but broke within a month. Even though we hardly use it.

Bought this in September 2022 but it just stopped working in March 2024. Tested the island socket and the kettle lead, both OK, so the unit itself has failed. Not great value £80 for just over two years… will buy something different to replace!

I was a bit reluctant to buy this as i read a few reviews which put me off, but i have to say it exceeded expectation so far. The pop up works perfectly, there is a little wobble as it goes down but not the end of the world. Would defo recommend. The automated pop up feature is a great addition
