Good fun, great gift

Got this because my old Google Cardboard is starting to show some wear and tear and I wanted a backup as these things are becoming harder to find now. It follows the cardboard v2 specification almost exactly and seems pretty well made considering it costs less than half what other models are asking for. Minor gripes: the biometric button seems a bit stiff and you have to press it more firmly than the original to touch the screen; the lenses seems _slightly_ more fisheyed than the original -- not the end of world.Overall, if you're looking for a replacement for the original Google Cardboard v2, this is an excellent (but not 100% perfect) choice, and definitely good value for money. If you're new to vr this is a very affordable starting point as there's loads of apps for android in particular -- I recommend VR theatre for cardboard as it lets you view videos as if you're in a cinema.

My 7 year old liked the games. Easy to set up and came already assembled. Ignore the bad reviewers.

It is fine, but I think this is an older product. I have used another Google Cardboard viewer which had a more comfortable head strap and had suckers to keep the phone in place. This viewer is quite uncomfortable, especially on the bridge of ones nose.It does work though, so I have given it 3 stars for that.Go for this instead:  Google Cardboard, Splaks 3D VR Virtual Reality Glasses V2 with Sucker Head Strap Forehead Pad Nose Pad and Big Lens for Android and Apple Device Up to 6 Inch Easy Setup DIY Kit

Such a good product - works better than the more expensive full headsets that I have tried. Easy to use, sturdy and great value for money!

The product is reasonably robust although not very comfortable to look through. There is no strap to keep it in place. I bought this having read about Google Cardboard on the Google website. It sems that this is no longer supported and despite an assurance that most phones will work with the viewer my Samsung J6 will not. I am keeping the viewer till I get a new phone as most reviews say it is good for the price. I spent a good few hours on YouTube etc trying to get it to work without success but to be fair it was my phone not the viewer at fault.

Works amazingly well for the price. Once I downloaded the app I can watch all the videos on my phone in VR and YouTube videos in VR without needing to have a premium membership.

My seven year old has been asking for a VR headset for a while, so we thought we'd start with these. They're easy to put together and work really well with the Google VR app on my Samsung phone. The only slight problem is one of the Velcro stickers pulled off soon after we got it. A bit of super glue soon fixed that though. I'd thoroughly recommend these for getting your kids into VR.

Questo visore a mio avviso è ottimo per chi come me è alla sua prima esperienza con la realta virtuale. Il prezzo è contenuto ma è fatto molto bene, facile da usare (sono incluse delle brevi istruzioni) e permette di visionare molti contenuti con l'app, che si adatta al visore configurandolo con il Qr code.Consigliato.
