I bought this a month ago and I’m so happy, this product it’s definitely pricey but so far worth all the money, left my hair so shiny and soft and I feel this straightener is more gentle than my last platinum tool, my hair keeps straight and less frizzy longer than before and the touch system is so cool, I don’t use to curl my hair, so I’m not sure how easy or not it is with this tool but definitely I’ll be trying that in a short future

I gave the T3 Smooth ID four stars because I had one BIG gripe. Programming the tool was not as intuitive as it appeared. I was ready to put it back in the box and return it and finally got it programmed to my hair. The selections to program the tool are so smooth on the iron that they are hard to find when not lighted up, and they must be illuminated to program the tool. With that said, once it was programmed, I noticed with the first pass on my hair that it was a great tool. My hair was so smooth, shiny and silky. The heat level was perfect, the tool did not pull on my hair nor did it burn or smell bad. By the time I had half of my hair done I was totally and completely overwhelmed with the results. I absolutely recommend this tool. My suggestion for the instructions is BE PATIENT WITH YOURSELF! The tool requires taps not a hard press on the buttons. Keep the plastic cover on the tool for a while until you have a better handle on programming it. You will love it and be completely pleased with your results.

This is probably my 3rd T3. I had another brand but my new hairdresser felt the titanium plates for my hair texture (4c and fine) when straight was not going to result in a consistent temperature throughout the plates. I have to say using it for the first time was like night and day. This compares to the other brands I have tried (these are professional brands). The plates do not snag my hair at all. I can tell T3 perfected this design since purchasing my last T3 flat irons between 8-17 years ago. I love also the fact I can switch between a manual temperature setting and/or enter my hair texture, length and then whether or not my hair has been color treated. The handling of this style tool is my favorite. I can’t wait to try curls with it.

I love T3 I have blow dryer, flat iron thin, the other one thicker, so many products and I wanted to try this one and my son bought it for me for Mother’s Day. $270 dollars. The first month of using it start peeling in the corners. Not a good quality at all. I am so disappointed. I haven’t said anything cause it was a gift from my sons savings. But don’t buy it. DONT. It doesn’t worth the price. And I tried to call T3… they haven’t returned my call. Yeah.

My hair is fine and there is a temp control for heat levels, depending on your hair type. Once set, you just plug in and the temp automatically sets without having to reset each time. Great iron at a fabulous price!

This is amazing! I am trying to grow hair out from a bob cut and I have fine hair, The CHI flatiron that I was using was scortching my ends no matter how much heat protectant I had on it. This iron does not get as hot based on the settings that I added for my hair and does a way better job! Only complaint is that I felt that the box had been open, there was no manual

I’ve always loved T3 straighteners. I’ve had one for YEARS!!!! This one is amazing!! The heat levels are really nice but the technology of it choosing what temp your hair needs is my favorite feature! It keeps my hair soft and doesn’t leave it feeling burnt or dry. If you are on the fence about buying it…… do it! You won’t regret it.
