For many years I have been after the stainless steel version. Most others are aluminium. Unfortunately the company sent me the smaller size, as I needed to use it they refunded the price difference. The kettle boils very quickly and is easy to use. Great for a brew out in the fields. Would recommend very well built and easy to clean.

I chose stainless steel, a bit more cost but well worth t. An establish company with good reputation. I use it at Bushcraft camp activities at school, boils quickly enough for 10 - 12 cups of hot chocolate at end of session. I have also bought the pot top which folds flat - will be very useful

Bushcraft. Brilliant bit of kit very well made. One of the best things I have got for camping and bushcraft.

I like the fact that it does works with twigs or small amounts of scrap wood, Perhaps one thing that isn't mentioned is I find the inside of the chimney quickly becomes very sooty and it is hard to clean.

Boiling water, uses very little fuel. Not sure rubber/plastic whistle would withstand longterm heating against steel spout. The chain disconnected from whistle first time of use, easily reconnected, but will be aware in future usage.

First of all, it is heavily promoted as being Irish! It is in fact made in China! Even the box it comes in is made in China. It is nice to have a curiosity, but I doubt that it is practical in terms of use. If you happen to be stopping at a place with an ample supply. of small dry twigs that is one thing, but very often such things are not really easily available and it is quite a bulky assembly to carry around - and you do of course need to find a flat and level site on which to mount it, because being so tall when it’s assembled, it’s easily tipped over. In practice, it is far easier to carry a small single burner gas stove with a small cartridge which were like first time every time and instantly give a fierce flame to cook with – and it will take up far less space in your rucksack. Other than that, it is actually nicely made and it did turn up on time.

Chasseur, bucheron et autres travailleurs de l'extérieur devraient avoir cette bouilloire efficace. Avec ses modules adjoints, vous pouvez même vous faire griller et à manger avec. La rapidité du chauffage de l'eau est incroyable pour un café et autre boisson chaude en quelques minutes! Outil formidable!
