This is the best mouthpiece out of the Graftonite series for me. Easier to blow with a number 2 synthetic reed. This mouthpiece has improved my tone over the range of the horn. It has allowed me to make some progress on altissimo notes.

Miss Murphy's has served me well I thought I was going to quit playing two years ago but I've been asking to enjoy the band so I started playing again but I forgot I needed a mouthpiece it's very reasonable it's easy to control the opening it's just right for me anyways I would highly recommend it thank you so much delivery in the way they handled everything as far as getting it to me excellent

So originally I intended on buying a basic mouthpiece I can practice, shed and maybe preform on because I am mainly an alto saxophonist. I heard the Rico aka D'addario line of plastic mouthpieces where pretty good for the money and so I bought one not knowing fully how it plays and boy! Was I surprised! Full open sound, great feel, and overall super comfortable to switch on. I'd totally recommend this to beginners/ intermediate and doublers saxophonists out there needing a first jazz mouthpiece without that price tag
