I bought this to extend a different set of lights than those it was advertised for. The photographs on the web site gave me confidence that it would fit. I found this to be the case. It was a tight fit but assume that was to ensure the integrity of the waterproof joint. If you need an extension for a 2 pin 12volt LED light set, I would suggest you look at this item -- but do look carefully at the photos to compare with your light set connectors.

These were perfect to extend my Twinkly strings so I no longer have to cut the origional wires to extend. Worth checking your connectors also look the same as the images if you are extending Twinkly cables though as I don’t know if they always use this type of connector.
