A Ukrainian Christmas Hardcover – 3 Nov. 2022

The media could not be loaded. I saw this yesterday and had to buy it immediately! I even bought one for my Aunt as a Christmas present! The cover is beautiful as are the pictures inside. As someone with a Ukrainian grandfather it's lovely to read the history of the traditions of Christmas which I still celebrate now as an adult. It brought back lovely memories of Ukrainian Christmases spent with my Grandad and family as a child. A perfect Christmas present for anyone interested in Ukrainian customs!

It may be a little book in size but it is jam packed with everything you need to know about Ukrainian Christmas with lovely colourful illustrations inside. I bought this for my mum and I know she will love this as it will bring back many memories for her and no doubt bring out her personal stories of Christmas. I am already learning about things from this book which I never knew about so I do recommend this book and I hope the author/illustrator work on a little book like this for Easter.

Very beautiful book and good quality

As a Ukrainian myself I never knew some of the history of Ukrainian traditions. I only knew the one my grandmother passed down to us when we were children. I am very grateful to the authors that they were able to shed a light on the history of our Christmas (Rizdvo) traditions not only to me, but also to the British people. I will be purchasing a book in Ukrainian language back home as I would love to read both of the books. It is a pleasure to hold this quality book in my hand. Big thank you to the writers 🇺🇦🕊

I am not religious although most of my friends would say I am. I heard this author on Rev Kate breakfast show. I ordered the book on that day and to my surprise it came early. I was astounded at the knowledge I learnt from reading the book! If normal people like me could get a copy I'm sure it would change their outlook on life and of course our Ukrainian friends who we are welcoming into our homes and country.
