Excellent Hot Water Creator!
We drink tea in our house, we sometimes need hot water for meals, we already had a kettle, which was just fine functionally, however since it was a year old and clearly quite dated??? It was deemed we 'need' a new kettle. I actually have a few Bosch products which have been great however the main reason for picking this I believe was the aesthetic..We've had this kettle for six months now, sometimes you can review a product like this after a week and it's a different opinion versus some long term use.The Good -This kettle holds a fair a amount of water, 1.7 litres, which is more than enough for a few cups of tea and some super noodles. The build quality is very solid, a mix of stainless steel and chunky plastic, I don't worry about it snapping mid pour and burning my feet off.The lid pops easily and firmly, no rattling when closed, water is easy to pour into the top with no clearance issues.I have found the level display easy enough to read, yes it is behind the handle but I think that adds to overall look. The switch is a light flicker, push down gently and away we go.4:05 minutes later, for a full to the top boil, and voila, hot water is yours in abundance. Yes I really did time the cold to boiling water cycle. Lots to do in lockdown!!Of course with a half kettle or a couple of mugs worth this is much less. With it being stainless steel I anticipated a fingerprint Magnet, but its actually not, yes it does attract some markings but it's super easy to wipe down, we only use warm water and haven't bothered with the myriad of specialist wipes you can buy. And it's been great.Similarly the interior is easy to clean, over the six months of use we haven't had to rigorously clean the inside, the spout filter seems to be doing a good enough job.The could be better -OK I measured the boil cycle time, but I haven't tried to measure the decibel output, I actually like the noise of a boiling kettle, as some have said it can be noisy. But no its not like Concorde is in your back garden. It's a large amount of water being rapidly boiled in a small container using electricity.I much prefer the whoosh of an electric kettle to the whine and hiss of a stove boiled pot. That said it really won't be troubling your neighbours!Overall it's a rapid water boiling machine that's easy to clean, looks fantastic and hasn't let us down yet.Highly recommended.Five Stars.

Fantastic!
This is a great kettle. I was sad when our last one failed, after many years. This Bosch kettle seemed like a bargain compared to many others on the market. When it arrived, we were very pleased with the appearance. It looks modern, with a high quality finish. It pours very well. It made me realise that our old one was not great in that respect. We’ve now had it for a few months and it has been fantastic.Recommended.

Solid and handsome kettle that does the job
First impressions were very good - nice solid feel to it, attractive brushed steel finish. The lid is lined with plastic and the spout filter is white nylon mesh on a plastic frame which fits into a plastic mounting - rest of the interior appears to be metal.A little heavier and a slightly larger diameter than expected, but in a reassuringly solid-construction way, not in a bad way.Instructions for first use are confusing - instructions say you need a tablespoon of white vinegar to prepare for first use but is is not clear when to add the white vinegar. The boil goes on a little too long for me before the automatic switch-off. We had steam and condensation all over the plug - because we are right-handed and the plug is where the spout points when we place the kettle on the base in the natural position for our hands.I rang Bosch UK Customer Service to see if there is any adjustment for this - there isn't - their suggestion was moving the kettle away from the plug. They also were confused by the first-use vinegar instructions.I do not find the noise or time-to-boil unusual. The water-level window is indeed particularly hard to use - even after reading the reviews I hadn't realised it would be that bad - it is very dark, placed under the handle and just plain ill-designed.Updated with an extra star after a week of use as it is growing on us already.

Very stylish.
A very nice looking kettle. It is quite noisy when boiling it, and the outside of the kettle gets very hot. The water scale is hard to see as it’s slightly hidden by the handle.Although I have made negative comments, it works well and looks nice.

Very good kettle
Well made and with a solid feel to it the brushed stainless is easy to keep clean. The kettle boils faster and is less noisy than my previous Russel Hobbs. Other reviews have lamented the water level indicator being behind the handle but I didn’t find this to be a problem, although a light would have been nice. Overall pleased with my purchase,it’s not easy to find a decent kettle these days.

Beautiful kettle that brings me joy
Although I agree with some of the negative comments here (water mark difficult to see, not the quietest model), I have to say I love this kettle. I bought it for its looks/ design, and hey... it boils water.

It doesn’t beep!
So our old Bosch kettle finally gave up and unlike that one it doesn’t beep when you switch it on and once it’s boiled. To stop my other half complaining about this beep, that alone is worth 5 stars.Anyways, it boils water, looks good and is easy to clean.

I did really like it untill the coating started to blister.
Very nice coloured kettle. Nice minimalistic style. But the kettle coating has just started to blister! Requested a refund as some other people have shown photos of theirs is a worse state. I've not wiped it with anything like cleaning products as its still new. Really disappointed. Otherwise the only other things i didnt like are that it sometimes pops quite loud like theres trapped air bubbles (similar noise to a wet saucepan on electric hob) and the black plastic handle looks and feels a bit cheap in comparison to the main body.
