if someone gets it on their hands is it difficult to get it off ?

Think of it as a decoratively coloured grease , more than an ordinary gloss paint. As such , If you are painting it on - and you touch it relatively lightly by accident , It is reasonably easy to get most of it off the skin , with 'swarfega' or undiluted washing up liquid . Subsequent washes will then remove any residual colour , in the fine' grain' of the fingers and hands. As the person trying to climb it will apply much more pressure, and over a larger area of skin/clothes - then it would not only be slippery, but also penetrate the skin deeper - and leave deep residue in clothes . As such, it was the best deterrent to local anti-social behaviour - and fence climbing e.t.c , as it really penetrates the fibres - even after subsequent washes. If it is ( for example ) a person climbing in their beloved fashionable 'Sportswear' , then it just ruins the cosmetic appearance , for good - as it penetrates the open cotton fibres , much more deeply under pressure. If your pet cat / dog gets it on their pads, a baby wipe quickly gets the majority off of the small area . When I am putting on an extra layer , after a few weeks , to enhance the decorative 'gloss' - and make it even more permanent , it is amazing how it somehow marks you - even though you ( think you ) know where it is , as you reach over and round it. I painted a small area just below the main area - on the wall , so the local kids could initially touch the surface, realise how effective it was , and not even try to climb it. As humans are creatures of habit ; this paint changed their migratory habits' even more than CCTV did, and they never came back. I mention the later - as the ability to wash it out, is of course, related to the amount of contact pressure. So , yes ; you , the painter can get it off of your skin skin , but as with any dark grease ( and this has added colouring of course ) - clothes always retain a mark, however small. All in all - a great balance of it being manageable for you, but a permanent mark for the person attempting to climb it.

I want to put this on my car wing mirrors to stop this man punching them, will it go onto plastic?

It has gone on the plastic sheeting I have on the roof of my shed to deter intruders into my garden of the two legged and four legged. You would need to give your wing mirrors a wide berth because it really is messy when you come into contact with it.

can this be painted onto a tree trunk to stop cats

darling , i bought two as it does work on anything. and if it gets on your hands , it washes off. I also bought spikes and they work too. but as a last resort , i also added traps , as i had many poo problems . the Australians made a law against irresponsible owners and i think we all should keep writing to the local MP to do the same. go to google and youtube and twitter and you will find thousands of people being the victims and pay the price. Can this be applied to brick? We have a low back wall and people keep hopping over

I suppose so although I've never tried. As it's a low wall and depending on where it is,the risk would be that someone or some animal might just touch it when passing and be smeared with the paint, which is a pain to remove

Does exactly what you want to do

That’s the anti Climb Paint up Let’s see those little Spider Men try to scale that roof now! They’ve been using the lamp post like it’s a playground slide. Legally, you need to have signs up.. we got these from Amazon to Quality wise it’s very thick and easy to use It looks very effective. It was very sticky when we were putting it up. I would say this was value for money..

Good Product - NOTE you need to have a Warning Anti Climb Paint Sign

Good Product, small tin for the money though. You have to apply generously. I know it works as few month after applying a friends child climbed into the garden to retrieve a lost ball, and get paint on clothing. Has stop the local youth using my fence to climb on adjacent garages. NOTE you need to have a Warning Anti Climb Paint Sign.

Stop cat fouling in my garden

I put this on my back outside brick wall and gate . As a last resort to be honest, to try and stop next doors cat coming in my garden fouling. I have bought all kinds of things, and they haven't worked. But this has , and I am so pleased.

Keep kids off the fences.

Got this for grandparents. The kids have damage their fences and keep climbing over. When it arrived. Quickly painted it. Week later, kid mother came around and keep apologising and told the kid off. The kid had ruin his clothes and his hair. Next day he was a skinhead. Now they will learn a hard lesson to stop climbing. Now 2 month later. Paint still wet and greasy.
