We had Fendall 2000 for several years, but one day it seemingly exploded due to the weight of the saline on the plastic. Total loss. Installed this Fendall 1000 and I like it. Less expensive saline cartridges, but since they are sealed, they are rated to last 2 years. You only get 6 months with filling a container. Seems expensive, but worth it!

Quick and easy to hang on the supplied bracket. Beats $$$ for a plumber to install a sink and drain. Cartridges (Mylar bags of buffered solution) come separately. Last up to 24 months, so we are good for all inspections.

I bought a $557 specialized plastic tote. The description includes 12 sentences, 6 of which are specific to the wonders of the cartridge and none of which state "cartridge sold separately". With as much focus that was given to the necessary cartridge, one would think this information would be more transparent.
