What makes a $20 wool blanket and a $20 oil canvas tarp sell for $600? Is that some kind of nouveau “hipster dollars?”

Not sure about the blanket, but you're welcome to make a bedroll with 2 each 6' zippers, saddle leather straps and buckles, pillow pocket and very heavy waterproof canvas for $20. Good luck finding the raw materials for that price, much less a sewing machine capable of doing the stitching. I've already slept in it on the ground in the woods 20+ times. Takes maybe a minute to roll up and strap to the pack. Still looks like new.

Why isnt the price 80$

You will understand the price once you see the item. Pictures online or worse yet on your phone just do not let you see in detail. The quality is top notch. Unless you do something stupid this bed roll will last for years. The first time you open it up and put in a wool blanket or whatever you choose to sleep with you will see first hand how tough the product is as you work to roll it back up. Order it and see for yourself. If you think it is poor quality send it back. You won’t send it back and if you like to be outside under the stars you will be glad you bought it. It is not junk from China.

Very tough and high quality. You will never need to replace it. No need for a ground cloth or tent. Bugs and even small animals can walk over it and you won’t even notice it when you are sleeping. Just cover your head. A true survival bag to sleep in on the run.

It is a canvas bag only. You can easily ad a wool blanket depending on the weather. You can sleep in it with your clothes on and quickly get out if necessary.
