It took me a try to figure out how to apply them. I have installed them in the kitchen and easy to use but if you are not used to locking your cabinet doors it gets annoying you have to grab the magnet. After a while i had to get used to it. I recommend if you want something that wont show but still lock your doors. Maybe having easier instructions because i had to go back several times to understand how to put this together. Baby wont try to open anymore !

These have done what I wanted, kept my baby girl from getting into cabinets and getting into things she shouldn’t, however, they just use double sided tape to install basically and they don’t stay on for too long. Have had to replace some that came off which was difficult cuz the sticky tape stays on the cabinet, so now I have to use the magnet to open AND close the cabinet cuz they don’t line up, but I still like em.

I like the concept of the magnetic locks but the metal handles on my cabinets open the locking mechanism with out the key tool and keep it open so it doesn’t actually lock….Everything else was pretty simple and easy to install.

These cabinet locks are easy to install and even easier to use. Love them!

These are very simple to install. We used to have toolless cabinet locks that required you to defeat a pushdown latch to release the cabinet door. However; you always have to do this away from curious eyes because it would only be a matter of time before toddlers figure out how to mimic you.These tool-assisted locks work much better for us because our kids can't access the key to release the lock and you can unlock the cabinet much more discreetly. We keep the key high on the refrigerator but I haven't tried to unlock it with a generic magnet. I wouldn't be surprised if my kids would attempt to try this, but I think I'll have to do a bit more research on that.The adhesive is fine, but we have some cheap plywood cabinet doors and even though it sticks well enough right now, I'm worried that even with normal pressure from an adult who doesn't know the cabinet is locked may pull the mechanism straight off.Overall, very pleased with these locks. They add an additional security for us knowing our kids aren't going to access our cleaning supplies, but adult supervision of children is always a must when possible.
