I used it in the Differential on my classic car (Austin Healey Sprite). The gearbox on my car used 20 50 oil. Suggest you check online to see what your gearbox needs.

Can you use this in the differential?

Castrol EP90 is a high pressure oil rated to GL-4 standard making it suitable for use in standard/low power axles and differentials. However, high performance and limited slip differentials require a GL-5 rated oil. For axles the GL and the viscosity ratings are important, I would check what is recommended for your diff.
