U-Trou Perfection!
I guess that I consider myself a U-Trou EXPERT, especially with regards to Boxer-Briefs. Within the last 12 months, I have bought a dozen pairs of Me Undies, a half dozen pairs of Tommy John, and most recently, 8 pairs of these Terramar SilkSkins LIGHT Boxer Briefs. Short answer: These are THE ONES! Though I can't vouch for their long term durability, they are the most comfortable of the three by a long shot! Also, if you happen to have a bit of a bulging midriff (not that *I* DO, you understand!) these do a most excellent job of holding same in. The cherry on the sundae - the waistband does NOT "take a set" like both the others, which after several wearings, now have a permanent "crease" in the middle. Both my Me Undies and my Tommy Johns are now residing in my Goodwill bag - yeah, I DID wash 'em first!Having a horizontal fly just puts these "over the top"; it's one of those ideas that makes PERFECT sense - to the point where you ask "why don't ALL boxer briefs have a horizontal fly?!" Easy access, easy "re-sheathing" - like a quick draw holster!I'm playing it on the safe side by hang drying these, rather than hammering them in the dryer; but at less than $10/pair, a man could go through 3 pairs of these at the same cost as a single pair of Tommy Johns or Me Undies - No Brainer!

Changed
They have changed this product without changing the description. I bought these before and received what is stated in the description: two pair of six-inch Terramar SilkSkins boxer briefs. This last time I ordered, I received two pair of 3-inch SilkSkins. I checked the item number on the package and it matched the item number on the page, but now the package says 3-inch, while the page still says 6-inch. Not happy at all. The underwear itself is awesome - I just want the longer ones I paid for. Also, the description (but not the title) says these are AIRCOOL; they are not.Beware of this before you buy.

Best underwear out there for the money
Started worrying this product several years ago when I found it at a local big box retailer and tried it.The local stores no longer carry this product although I'm not sure why but I was so happy to find them on Amazon I have tried all the other similar products including ones that are much more money and none of them have the comfort softness and flexibility that they silkskins provide.I live in work in South Texas where it is hot 11 months out of the year. So things can get pretty swampy south of the border if you know what I mean. These will keep you cool and keep moisture away from your critical areas without pinching or binding or crawling up the canyon. As long as you follow the care directions they will also keep and last a long time.Just a note on that make sure that you do just that no fabric softener, wash on cold water. My wife God bless her, it's not the greatest at following laundry directions and has a habit of shoving everything together in one load and washing everything on warm or hot the first several pair of these I had did not last long and the waistband got to worry it had no stretch because the fabric softener took it all out of it and washing it with other items on the wrong temperature they ended up looking like an old snag pair of women's pantyhose. Now I keep them separated and wash a delicate load once a week. I have pairs that are 2 years old with no issues.

Comfortable, but a quality issue with recent order
I’ve worn Silk Skins for several years. They are comfortable while also feeling secure and providing easy “access”. They are especially good in the hot and humid Texas weather because they prevent chafing if you’re active. The only problem I’ve had is that the waistband on one of the recently purchased pair is separating from the fabric. Because the location of the separation is at the waistband I don’t expect this particular pair to last long. Too bad because these briefs are a bit expensive. Previously purchased pairs, however, have lasted for several years with no issues, so I still recommend them.

Soft, wicking, dries super fast!!
Incredibly silky soft and breathable. I'm a construction worker and summers in Florida are no joke, people die from the heat and you're literally streaming sweat at the end of the day. Driving home with sweat soaked clothes is not only uncomfortable, it's unhygienic. Skin becomes tender and inflamed, but not with these boxes! They wick away sweat and dry incredibly quickly!! I've already bought several more pairs and hate that I haven't done this sooner... seriously, cotton is terrible at keeping you dry!

Great underwear. Period.
Update: I took 1 star off because they are pilling quite a bit. That being said, they're still so soft and are that pair of underwear I look forward to putting on.Great underwear. Period. Well worth the money. These are my 7th pair of Terramar underwear, and they've all been good. 6" and 3". The 3 packs are good too. I've tried Tommy John's and was terribly disappointed. They were $30 for 1 pair and within 1 day I had a run in them like women get in stockings. My Terramar underwear have held up great. These fit perfectly and feel amazing. Do yourself a solid and buy em.

Light, soft, comfortable, stretchy & cost effective
The material is very light, soft, comfortable & stretchy, but stay in place well. Not much of a pouch for support though. I'm not sure what to think about the horizontal fly access. It might be more usable if it were located at the bottom instead of so far at the top. I definitely like the 3" leg length better vs. the 6" which I returned. I've only had them for a couple of months now so I'm not sure how durable the fabric will be over the long run. These are a good economic replacement for the more expensive Champion C9 purchased from Target at twice the price. But the C9 is more durable with a better contoured fit and supportive pouch. Overall a pretty decent product though which can also be ordered from Walmart.
