This is not a product I’d recommend for anything magical. If you want climate control and being able to regulate humidity this is not for you. However if you’re going with something simple and hearty this product works great. It will hold humidity but the filters let it escape quickly. It will keep your cake moist but it’s hard to keep air saturation. It is exactly as advertised. The high review is because the product is what they show. It’s made good. It’s a good size. It’s durable. They have great customer service. They stand behind their product. My main complaint is the filter choice. They are just not suited for mycology that has a sensitive nature. I can say the tub functions. It will grow mushrooms. It will hold some humidity if you don’t use most of the filters. I’d like for it to have had something to support the bottom also. Maybe a sheet of plastic or something. You can cut the filter and run a humidifier right into the side also. This helps dramatically with humidity. I personally would buy again because it’s not what I require but I’d recommend this to anyone who asked if it was worth it if grew hobby mushrooms. The price is fair the product works. It’s not a flop.

These make mushroom growing so easy! Easy to set and she give advice on what matrix mix to use for different mushrooms. We have enoki growing in one and lionsmane in another right now. Yummy!

great product. Worth the money! easy to clean and manage. I just wish I would have used more substrate to get closer to the fresh air holes, they are a little high.

Monotub works great!!! The initial one I received had an air leak. I reached out to customer service and received a new monotub in UNDER 24hours. They also included some gifts and informational guides. Will definitely be purchasing from here again!!!!

Works perfect! Just amazing! No issues with moisture. Easy to set up and best thing is when it's not on use...backs up to a small bundle and you can stash it away!

I've been through 3 grow cycles with this tub and I like the ease of use, the great documentation, and, overall, the quality of the product. My only complaint is the lid. After a couple of weeks of use, one corner of the lid split. These need to be reinforced because the lid fits so tightly.

I had high hopes for this monotub. I followed the included directions precisely. Unfortunately, I got trichoderma contamination after the cake had fully populated. I've been growing mushrooms for 3+ years now, so I'm not a novice. I considered returning it, but decided to do my part for the environment and just eat the cost instead of shipping it back for 25 bucks.

Hard to harvest mushroom, have to put your arm in so deep to get to the mushroom. Not a good fit more me. Otherwise the quality of material is good.
