Effective Where Others Failed
This is a product I wish I’d purchased sooner. After trying numerous dandruff treatments, including Nizoral, this bar has delivered the best results by far. The 5% sulfur and 2% salicylic acid combination is genuinely effective, restoring scalp balance. The formulation is comprised of clean and mostly plant-based ingredients. The bar is puck-shaped with a peppermint scent that pleasantly masks most of the sulfur aroma. It lathers as much as a liquid shampoo and a little goes a long way. Even after many uses, the bar looks nearly new, making it remarkably cost-effective. The only drawback is a reduction in the peppermint scent over time. I keep it stored dry in it's box between uses. It's solid form also makes it perfect for travel.

Buy the bar, not the bottle!
I've been using this bar for a few weeks and it has really helped finally clear up my seborrheic dermatitis. I've been using a perscription 2% ketaconazole shampoo, T Sal salicylic acid shampoo from Neutrogena, and glycolic acid toner from The Ordinary but I still had little pimples/breakouts/flares. This bar cleared everything right up after using every other day alternating with the ketaconazole shampoo. It smells like peppermint (only slightly like sulfur when it is wet) and lathers really well. I like that it includes salicylic acid, because now I have one less product to use! It is drying, so pair it with conditioner. I also bought the bottle version for travel but that doesn't lather, smells like sulfur, and leaves a powder in your hair and the bottom of your shower/tub. Definitely go with this bar! It's a better cost per use too.

Works and feels great!
Love this shampoo bar. I have dry scalp/eczema issues, and worried that a shampoo bar would not work as well as liquid T-Sal did. But the bar does control and soothe my scalp issues just as well as the liquid. It lathers better, in fact, really rich and satisfying. Smells good too, not overpowering but pleasant with the peppermint toning down any sulfury-ness. Love having soft, clean hair with no flakiness or guilt about putting more plastic into the ocean.

Great bar
I get nasty and painful bumps on my scalp that seem kind of like cysts. They can break open and ooze out liquid. I hate the bumps. I have tried special shampoos but this shampoo bar is my go to. I use it and leave it in for a few minutes before washing off. It seems to help with the bumps on my scalp, as if I use another shampoo for a few days, the bumps multiply and get worse. When I use this, there are fewer bumps and they are less severe. It has a little bit of a sulfur smell, but not as bad as some other sulfur shampoos I have used. I think it smells nice considering it has sulfur in it. I will keep using this.

I think it's helping
My scalp seems better. With my short hair I think I'm sticking to bar shampoo in general

Dandruff eraser - when used properly.
I've fought dandruff since my preteen years. That was forty years ago. Lot of flakes since then. I've tried every product made. Whatever I used - after a few days it would stop working. The only thing that worked was rotating different active ingredients. Or shaving... This one... so far has been a game changer. Daily cleaning with this, combined with a conditioner, has fixed both my scalp and beard. Hope this review doesn't jinx it. Two things: first, for this (or any other) dandruff shampoo to work you need to use it right. Get your hair wet, rub this puck over (and add a little water as needed), and build a substantial lather. Now scrub, hard, thoroughly, with fingernails. Then let it sit for *at least* two minutes before rinsing. Second: this *will* strip everything from your hair. It will be dry, prone to tangles, breaking, and your skin will be dry - which means it will flake. A good moisturizing conditioner is a must. Here's hoping this continues to work.

Sulfer!!!!
Alright ya'll initial review will update after a few weeks to months depending on progress. Initial application, it actually lathers which you need for seborrheic dermatitis, the sulpher cuts the smell that even medicated shampoos dont while they sit on scalp. It cut the itch within 60seconds probably. Im hoping it dries it up the infection better than the 2% ketoconozole shampoo ive been using from the dermatologist. Will update.

Quick relief and scalp smooth again.
For better or worse I ordered this bar shampoo for the itch scaly patches in my scalp. I don’t have many and they aren’t getting large but they bother me. I have something the dermatologist said could get worse but whatever I was doing was working. I realize in treatment my skin but not scalp. So I bought this used it three times and the patches are gone. I read it’s probably just dead skin cells that did not shed. So I used this bar shampoo left my hair soft and shiny not dry I used a regular conditioner afterwards since my hair is fine and tangles easily. I am super pleased. It lathers well and has no scent. I will update as I use it.
