Assembly Screws Are Made Of Very Soft Metal
Wood was squarely cut and fit together OK. Once assembled it sat flat and would securely hold a plane. The weak point are the assembly screws. They're extremely soft metal and the Phillips heads strip very easily if care isn't taken. Might pay to visit your local hardware store and purchase better quality screws of the same size before putting this together. Instructions state to check the screws for tightness occasionally. I plan to disassemble mine and put a small amount of wood glue on the pieces that screw together. Would not advise using wood glue if you plan to take it apart at some point.

Excellent Quality
I’m very happy with this stand. It’s exactly what I didn’t know I needed. Being able to infinitely adjust the two (they’re not connected of course) is something I am now happy I have with his stand set. Went together very easily. Use an electric drill if you have one. I only had to sand one of the stand legs to square up the foot so it wouldn’t rock. Highly recommended!

Wobbly stand
Inaccurate cuts, make the stand slightly wobbly. Usable and good for the most part.

Looks good, works well, inexpensive
Cheaper and more adaptable than foam alternatives. Nicely finished and easily assembled if you have an electric screwdriver. Much more useful than fixed size stands, the two or more separate supports make working on planes a breeze.

Doesn't break like foam engine stands.
It works better than any I've purchased but needs an extra screw on top mount to keep it from turning when I'm working on an engine. Gary

Very weak design! The parts all move after screwing them in tightly, so its not stable... had to use glue as well. The top part of the stand broke after 2 weeks of use with a 1800mm foam plane on it - very weak plastic material used!

Bon produit mais il aurait été plus intéressant s’il avait été ajustable sur la hauteur
