Nicorette Nicotine Polacrilex Gum, 4 Mg, Fruit Chill, 100-Count Box

As a very long time smoker, I had a hard time quitting until I started using this gum. Frankly the consistency and flavors by all of them stink except Nicolette, and for me, this flavor. This has the flavor, and longevity of gum needed to help you quit. I know, tried patches, tried lozenges, tried other gums, nothing worked like this. 3 years and good to go still. Chew this all day long for 3 years. Not the plan, you are supposed to quit, but my dependence on nicotine is going to be dealt with by chewing gum or smoking. The gum works and is better for me, so I'll keep using this. Make no mistake, just like cigarette companies, nicorrete is in the nicotine delivery business and they know how to make it work. Best gum quality, good flavors, and the nicotine is delivered in a way that makes you want to chew their gum. I'm hooked but better than smoking. Other gums and stuff is so bad it makes me want to smoke.

Nicotine addiction is real. But chewing Nicorette gum helps. Certainly better than smelling like a sour ashtray (even if you do smoke outside!). I like the cinnamon flavor best, the spearmint second. Used to pick up at a wholesale/big-box retailer with more for a bit less, but they stopped carrying both flavors: not a fan of the FruitChill, and certainly not the "original." I'm also on the subscription plan which saves SO much time until I titrate down from 4mgs to 2 mgs. Fingers crossed!

I have been trying to quit smoking... I have said to anyone that would listen (including my doctor) that I wasn't addicted to the nicotine, just the hand to mouth habit. Spite the fact when I was in stressful situation or having anxieties I would go back to smoking (all a mind thing) Just like spending money and hurting my lungs. I WANTED and needed to quit smoking. It's only been a few weeks that I quit however today was the 1st day I hadn't tried to convince myself to go get a pack of cigarettes. I popped a piece of gum and wow it took the edge off. Didn't think or want to go get a pack of cigarettes. I honestly hate I was in denial so long about trying the gum and my doctor offered the patch. I thought it wasn't the nicotine all these 23 years. Duh! What a revelation. Thank goodness!! I will update when I have a significant amount of time without a cigarette.

I have tried the lesser expensive nicotine guy and Nicorette is still my favorite. It has the best flavor but more importantly the flavor lasts the longest. Only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that while it does help, it doesn't quite satisfy my urge to use tobacco. Favorite flavor is the Fruit Chill and second favorite is Cinnamon.

why are you looking at reviews for nicotine gum? this stuff is the best and it’s worth the extra money. i’ve tried all types of guns and this is my favorite. it maintains flavor longer and stays chewy.
