Excellent Addition to the Tool Collection
I have been renovating an outbuilding and had to strip the entire roof, including the beams as they were all rotted through.I worked out that, just to put the beams back up, I would be knocking in around 1500 nails and some of those in awkward areas where I couldn't easily swing a hammer. I looked around at nail guns, but came to the conclusion that to get one I could trust would cost several hundred pounds and, as I didn't see a huge future need, couldn't justify that. I then came across palm nailers and, having done a bit of reading, settled on this Milwaukee C12. Firstly, be warned that it comes without a battey or charger. This seems to be because all Milwaukee batteries fit all of their tools - so you buy the tools ex battery and switch your batteries around to the tool you are using. Next warning - I seperately bought a 'replica' battery and charger. I put this in the nailer and, whilst the power lights came on, the nailer did not work. I returned the battery and charger and purchased a Milwaukee battery and charger - result, everything worked fine.I used the nailer to do the roof (I was punching in 38mm twist nails into framing brackets and hangers) - It took me two days to do the roof and (I did buy the longer life battery) I only recharged once. The battery recharges very, very quickly. You can put it on charge, have a coffee and it will be almost fully charged again!!!It saved me a huge amount of time and effort, did a fantastic job on the barn roof and has subsequently assisted with many other projects (fencing, some shelving for the shed, battening for plasterboard etc.)So from being sceptical, I am truly impressed with this tool and, unlike a nail gun, I think this will get lots of future use.

Excellent product
As with all Milwaukee products, this is well designed and built to last. Very powerful action and lasts a good while with the smaller batteries.

Button needs some force and not for the left handed
Quick delivery. The button needs a bit of force to activate which does help with stability when using at arms length with short nails. Would probably be better design to activate from forefinger rather than thumb. I guess if you were left handed it would be hard to use.

Better than a hammer for medium to large nails
Packs a punch. Makes nailing a piece of cake especially where you can’t get a clear swing. Recommended.

quality assured
excellent for nailing ties in timber frame houses, saves time laboriously hammering ties with conventional hammer ,easy to use both left and right handed, the only down side being the nails i am using are non ferrous (non magnetic) but it poses no problem as you just hold the nail breifly to start it off . milwaukee are so confident they give 3 years warantee.

Packs a punch!
Used this to put in nails big and small while fixing an old deck. I'm really impressed and it's been great in tighter spots. You definitely need impact gloves and ear plugs as it's pretty loud and pounds on your hand with the recoil. I really liked how much control it gives you when setting up where you want to put the nail.
