Ravensburger Santorini 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle for Adults and Kids Age 12 Years Up

Lets deal with the left edge first. There is a small section missing from the puzzle box picture, but it is the edge and so very easy to work out which bits that is. Also I have seem mention of softness in the puzzle picture, I agree there is some at the edges but also I did not find that a problem. There is enough clues in the pieces, cut, size, colour to enable you to make good progress, even the tangs are not a standard size. For example the sky I thought would be difficalt was done first because the hue of the sky changes so you can plot the location of the pieces well. It is a lovely picture and I enjoyed doing it.

A challenging puzzle not for the faint hearted or those who lack patience. Limited colours with many areas the same or similar tone. The dark area very difficult. Not helped by the fact that the picture on the box is a slightly different colour to the puzzle

Loved this puzzle, I love all Ravensburger puzzles because they are such great puzzles. This one was harder than I expected because the buildings are all such similar colours - but that just meant it took longer and entertained me for longer!

Enjoyed this puzzle without a doubt it was difficult at times and some pieces did slightly get locked into one another when trying to find their rightful places so that was faffy at times but nothing I couldn't handle. The puzzle image is in photographic format but the pieces are in painting format which I hadn't expected and did make things more difficult than I had originally imagined but I persisted and got there as I always do as I have a good eye for detail so that works in my favour when doing jigsaws no matter what type of puzzle I am completing at any single time. So overall perfectly happy with this purchase and it was worth the time and effort not just the money too so thanks loads glad I bought it.

Wasn't easy (especially the sky and sea) but that's exactly why I bought it. Great quality as alwasy for Ravensburger and unique choice of image.

The photo of Santorini is beautiful. The jigsaw is pretty good quality, and there are some challenging bits which I enjoy. Presented in a good box.

Worth going for a quality brand when buying puzzles, there is some foreign junk about & Ravensburger is top quality

Da meine Oma (Jahrgang 37!) jedes Jahr diverse Puzzles von uns bekommt, wurden auch für den kommenden Winter neue Exemplare bestellt. Durch die recht homogene Farbgebung gehört dieses Motiv zu den eher kniffligeren, aber es soll ja auch nicht an einem Tag fertig werden ;-) Wie üblich bei Ravensburger sind die Teile sehr passgenau und es kommt so gut wie nie vor, dass versehentlich die falschen Teile aneinander gelegt werden (immer noch ausgehend von meiner Oma!). Daher kann man dieses Motiv trotz der erhöhten Schwierigkeit auch für Anfänger empfehlen. Es gibt zwar gelegentlich bei Aldi ähnlich gute Puzzles, aber ich greife immer wieder gern und bedenkenlos zu Ravensburger, weil hier die Qualität einfach immer stimmt. Die Puzzles werden zwar nur selten zweimal gelegt, aber auch dafür lassen sie sich sehr gut wieder auseinandernehmen. Der einzig minimale Kritikpunkt wäre, dass die Oberfläche bei Lampenlicht etwas zu sehr reflektiert, so dass die Farben nicht mehr so gut gesehen werden. Aber das dürfte wirklich nur ein "Problem" für die älteren Semester sein.

Avendo anche una foto scattata da me allo stesso orario nello stesso luogo posso affermare con certezza che i colori sono fedeli e il paesaggio raffigurato è il medesimo. Vederlo completarsi un pezzo dopo l'altro è un piacere per gli occhi e permette di osservare i più piccoli dettagli della foto. Passando un discreto numero di ore sul puzzle si nota l'alta qualità sia dei pezzi che dell'immagine e ci si sente quasi all'interno del quadro. + Difficoltà Questo puzzle è adatto a chi si avvicina a questo mondo e vuole iniziare a provare qualcosa di intermedio. Non ha la difficoltà dei paesaggi con i boschi o grandi porzioni di cielo o specchi d'acqua ma l'assemblaggio delle casette può trarre in inganno. Il tutto è semplificato dall'infinito numero di sfumature di bianco che rende impossibili errori grossolani. Qualche difficoltà suoerabile la si può riscontrare nella composizione del cielo ma nulla di insormontabile. + Realizzazione Ravensburger è sinonimo di qualità per quanto riguarda i puzzle e pertanto, anche in questo caso, non si smentisce realizzando dei pezzi unici che difficilmente possono essere confusi con altri. L'ingresso in sede è sempre facile e non è mai necessario forzare. Rapporto qualità prezzo corretto.

Très joli puzzle, bon qualité, avec un paysage magnifique! Couleur un peu bleuté et plus sombre que sur la photo, mais ça me gêne pas beaucoup. Je me suis bien amusé de le faire!
