Buy your own double stick tape!
First off, I was very generous leaving a 5 Star rating as with most automotive items anymore these have an inferior adhesive tape either due to thickness or adhesion ability. I liked the design, and the fitment is excellent, but after reading the reviews of the wind deflector flying off of the hood after a short period of time, I was prepared to look into the issue that others have dealt with and find a way to correct the problem. It appears that the leading outside edge of the deflector has a small, raised border ridge. While it is not raised very high, it is raised higher than what the double stick mounting tape is thick, so in essence the tape does not make a firm contact with the hood of the vehicle.I removed the red protective plastic cover from the tape that is supplied and attached to the deflector then applied a second layer of STRONG double stick tape on top of their tape. With the double thickness of tape, it provides a strong solid connection to the vehicle.Follow the basics of cleaning the surface of your vehicle and then wipe it down with alcohol to remove any wax or other surface impurities.I placed the deflector on the hood of the Bronco and centered it on the hood then marked the center point with a soft lead pencil as a guide for mounting it once the tape is ready to be pulled once in place. Before mounting the deflector to the hood but after the cleaning stage I started the Bronco and allowed it to come up to temperature which also brought up the temperature of the hood surface, as the heat helped to bond the tape to the surface of the hood. I would occasionally later in the day walkout and press down on the edge of the deflector just adding a little additional pressure as the hood cooled and the tape set up solid. The design and fitment are spot on correct. I like the raised portion that runs from side to side adding an extra aerodynamic lift as the air flow is directed above the windshield. Hopefully it will also carry any small rocks, gravel or road trash right along up and over the glass wall that the Bronco calls a windshield.

Good buy!!!
With less than 5k miles I've already had a windshield ding repaired, so I listened to the recs and bought this item. Thank goodness I put this on today before driving from Austin to Dallas! Less than an hour into my drive I saw (what seemed like in slow motion) a semi kick up a golf ball sized rock that would have destroyed my windshield, but instead it hit the deflector and slingshotted way over my new Bronco. The guard had a good sized ding in it, but not my hood or glass; so job well done! Would definitely recommend! Easy to install too.

Almost fits
Super easy install but about a .25" too short on both sides' but too late...it's stuck to the hood

Bronco Hood Rock Guard
Was surprised at the good price, good quality, and ease of installation. It's stayed on firm. Very pleased.

Less than a month...
The tape is already not holding the deflector in place. I washed the hood and used alcohol wipes to have a 100% clean surface prior to installing. Now I have to research and figure out how to remove it without damaging the paint. Why can't these be built like they used to be and attach under the hood instead of useless tape. Wouldn't recommend this product. Update August 2024....finally had to remove it completely. Adhesive is worthless on items like this...Definitely a DONOT purchase.

Looks good, need assistance installing, adhesion questionable
I will start by saying this product looked, in my opinion, really good on my new Bronco. Installation was difficult because once you start attaching you cannot correct. Mine ended up being an 1/8" to 1/4" off center. Really hard to line up, in a perfect world have a person at each end and a person standing back from the center to guide each side. After approximately 1,000 miles, during a highway roadtrip at highway cruising speed (70MPH) I realized the driver side (approximately 8 inches) had come detached and I could see a gap between the hood and the road due to the wind speed and pressure. I stopped at a rest stop and tried to use pressure to reattach, which only lasted about another 100 miles, at which point I stopped and removed the entire piece. Unfortunately, the passenger side had adhered exceptionally well and despite trying to be careful I removed the layer of clear coat from the hood. Not visible at distance but definitely visible up close, brand new car with only 5,000 miles, not thrilled. Going to consult my car dealer regarding restoring the finish.

It works
It really cut down on the bugs hitting the windshield. Easy to install. Looks like it came on the Bronco. Very pleased.
