Amazing product!!!
I have recently had trouble with a disc in my back which resulted in me not being able to put my socks on. I couldn't get anywhere near my feet without the pain being unbearable. This product is a God send! It works absolutely perfectly and makes life so easy for people with back problems. I read that it didn't work with trainer socks but it does for me. If you struggle in any way getting your socks on or off, buy this product, you will not be disappointed!

Two Paramedics and one nurse said " Rubbish ! "
The item is made of plastic which obviously makes it dangerous when applying pressure, although it was impossible for me to try it on due to medical problems, other people attempted too, one of them being a nurse. Various pieces of so 'called tools were provided and it just didn't work.My apologies this late reply, this being due to lack of moment in my major limbs in both my shoulders and legs.Victor E. Lang

Dressing with sock installer!
After initial puzzling how to assemble, as instructions in German with pictures, I am very pleased with the item. Strongly made, with non-slip base. Even managed to get support stockings on as well. Have yet to try with tights, which I have been unable to wear for some years. Do not need to use the part to remove socks yet, but that will be a godsend later I think. Although expensive, well worth the money, and delivery fast.

Just take out the word 'easy'
I have taken delivery and done a trial run of this device. I have a damaged back, and socks are a major daily challenge, so I have been looking forward to this moment. Firstly, getting a sock onto the chute is not very easy - especially if the sock has been through the wash and tumble drier a few times. A brand new sock went on fairly easily though. I should mention I have size 10 feet and getting even a new sock on took effort. If you have small feet I suspect you would not be able to get your sock into the loading position. When you push your foot in the sock is supposed to glide of the back of the chute and embrace your ankle. With an old sock no such luck. Stuck like a limpet. Once again, a brand new sock kind of works. The illustration shows a very short sock. I think this is because, if the sock has even a few inches length above the ankle, you run out of space to move your foot forwards whilst there is still a substantial amount of sock to go. Stain to push your foot through and it is, eventually, possible clear the whole sock - but I found the extra pulling required resulted in the heel of the sock ending up in the middle of my calf. I managed to adjust this using the 'easy sock off' device. I can confirm that the easy sock off stick works a charm - but I have never had an issue taking socks off as I can stand on the toe of one sock with the other foot and pull it off that way. I will keep the device and practice more ( and replace my socks from the Tesco cheap shelves weekly) as I really do find it nearly impossible to get a sock on without some aid, and the device provides some aid. However, do not kid yourself it will be easy.

Very clever design
Very helpful tool, with a little practice my husband can now put on his socks with bending or getting out of breath.Plastic is very smooth, no snagging. The long handle tool works great too. Very clever design for removing socks, step on the top of handle for sock to flip up, so no bending to pick up socks off the floor. My husband was well impressed. Brownie points for me.

I bought this for my 72 year old mother which seemed very good for her as she cannot bend down due to back problems. Once she received it - she couldn’t grip her socks as they are a normal size 7 but the holder is too big and wide that the socks cannot reach either side ! So it’s waste of money if you have small legs
