Another excellent camera from SV3C which continues to be the only CCTV camera manufacturer I use / purchase from.I've use this camera to cover a lane alongside my house. Whilst this particular camera does *not* operates over POE (Power Over Ethernet) it comes with a compact 24W (12V/2A) power supply which is easily wired alongside the network cable.It also has a WiFi aerial included for wireless connection to your LAN should it not be possible to run a network cable - in my case I didn't need this.A slot for an SD card (up to 128GB) is included which is handy if you don't have an NVR / NAS to record the footage.I set a static IP address and an ONVIF port number which needs to differ from the ONVIF port that other cameras on the same LAN might be using. Since it uses ONVIF protocol it integrates perfectly into my CCTV server system (Synology Surveillance Station). The camera also has a zoom function but in my case it's zoomed right out for maximum coverage.The night vision is second to none with a large array of IR LEDs which glow menacingly. That's a nice touch - I'm sure it would put off (or make them think twice) a would-be miscreant. The nightvision mode works well with infrared but in addition to this bright LEDs can illuminate to bring the camera into day mode with its obvious benfits. Motion detection is also included.You can pan & tilt the camera to cover pretty much all angles you can think of - and the PTZ function also includes preset positions which is handy to return to the "normal" view.The zoom function is outstanding - a full 15x optical zoom alongside 2560 x 1920 resolution at up to 30 frames per second. I think I need to upgrade my LAN to 10 gigabit :-/The camera itself is very robust, with a heavy metal case which exudes quality and it feels like it's built to last.Definitely worth the money and I would certainly recommend this camera.In summary, a brilliant CCTV camera from S3VC with a crystal clear image as usual.

The media could not be loaded. I needed an extra camera for the front drive, given increase to car and house burglaries in London.I bought this SV3C rolling CCTV camera and are pretty satisfied. I knew this brand from previous cameras I installed at the rear garden. The mobile app has been upgraded from CamHi into CamHipro, so I decided to set up my existing CCTVs there too, which I did very quickly. Through the app you can control all cameras and access the loop video recordings if you have set that option and inserted an SD card into the slot which is metallic and pretty well protected by three screws.The camera’s body is made of solid metal, very sturdy and has a black finish which I think is more visible and serious than other models. Video quality is great at 5M (2560x1920) and the night vision is truly powerful. The set up into the outer wall was easy, as a separate metal base is provided and you can attach the camera there in 10 seconds using a screwdriver. The movement of the head is perfect and almost 365 degrees. The wireless function works perfectly via WiFi and very easy to setup in loop recording mode. There is a lot this camera offers, including motion detection alarms into your mobile or email.Very happy with the purchase. Recommended.

I purchased this CCTV camera on August 10, 2023, and initially, it worked well. However, after a few months , I started experiencing issues with the night vision—specifically, the light began to flash, indicating a breakdown.I reached out to the seller for assistance, but their response was disappointing. They offered me a mere £5 off my next purchase, which felt like an insult considering the situation. It's frustrating to invest in a product meant to protect your property, only to find that the warranty seems to expire when the camera fails.I cannot recommend this seller or their products. If you're looking for reliable security solutions, I suggest exploring other options. Save your money and look for a brand that stands behind their products.

I bought this to replace a slightly inferior CCTV camera. After much research, comparing different models and specs, I decided to purchase this SV3C C12 model. It has the better 5 megapixel zoom lens. I investigated the 2K and 4K lens cameras, but feedback tends to indicate that these lenses struggle in direct sunlight, which would be an issue as my house faces South into direct sunlight in the mornings. The C12 model has an alternative model available, the POE, which means that the power is fed through the ethernet cable which would entail a very long ethernet cable between my router and the camera.This particular camera, delivered the next day by Amazon, was easy to install, it comes with all the fittings required. The camera itself is substantial, of metal construction, but not too heavy. The CamHipro software is very good and straightforward to operate. Various packages are available to store the CCTV information, I pay £4.99 per month for 30 days of storage.The camera picture quality is good and can detect motion of people and record the video footage automatically. The picture quality, zoom function and usability are very good.Overall, I am extremely pleased with this camera.
