I bought it to connect an external hard drive with usb a cable to a cpu with usb c, it worked perfectly.

I use this to attach a USB-C audio dongle to my PC with bad onboard audio. It works perfectly. The braided cable is great, no fraying even after a year of being permanently bent 180 degrees. The USB-C connector is a tight fit, which is nice because it prevents me from accidentally pulling anything out. Only some issues getting things recognized when plugged in while booting but it's very rare.

All of my setup with SSD, HDD can do 650 MB/S minimum with factory supplied cables.This cable is advertised 10gbps (1250MB/S) but it only does max 24 MB/S.
