Amazing Hack for Bitter Medicine
Short version: if you have a bitter liquid medicine that you take, use the fresh squeezed juice from half a lemon to mix with the medication, but leave a little bit of the juice to squeeze into your mouth right after taking the mixture. For me this has completely eliminated the horrible bitter taste and lasting aftertaste of the bitter medication I take. Long version: Saw this on Shark Tank and immediately ordered it hoping it would get rid of the horrendous taste of a very bitter iodine-based liquid medicine that I take every day, which tastes horrible and leaves an aftertaste in your mouth for hours even after brushing teeth, using mouthwash, and drinking coffee. Despite the horrible taste and aftertaste, it works. Anyway, the first day I tried these per the instructions and then took the medicine as usual with no success. The berries did nothing to mask the horrid taste of the medicine. I called the phone number on the bag which suggests calling if you’re first time user and they don’t work. I left a message which never got returned, but I noted that it was a California phone number and I’m on the East Coast, so about a week later I called the number again in the afternoon, hoping the office would be staffed. Hank, one of the owners, answered directly; he said the number is his cell phone. He suggested that I first do the berries, and then do some lemon juice to “activate” the berries before taking the medicine. I tried this the next day, but still no success. However, his suggestion gave me an idea, which was to mix the medicine with lemon juice. I tried this the next day with the juice from half a lemon — we have a little lemon squeezer that works perfectly for this, as it holds only the juice of about half lemon — and it actually worked. It masked the horrid taste of the medicine by about 75%. Then, to my great delight, I tried squeezing a few extra drops of lemon juice onto my tongue right after taking the lemon juice-medicine mixture and this immediately neutralized the remaining 25% of the awful medicine taste. So now my morning routine is to use the fresh squeezed juice from half a lemon to mix with the medication, but leave a little bit of the juice to squeeze into my mouth right after taking the mixture. No more horrid taste and no more horrible aftertaste. It’s quite a bit of extra hassle every morning, but very worth it given how horrible this medicine tastes and how well it works.

Only way I eat my sumos now is with a miracle berry fruit first!!!!
I’m going to give these 5 starts because they do exactly what they say they will do. There’s a little shell in the middle that is similar to the shell in popcorn. You know what I’m talking about lol. It gets stuck in your teeth. Anyway, pull that out if you can or bite around it until it’s removed. This will make it easier to chew up the fruit and move it across your tongue freely. Try to keep it there for as long as you can, it’ll dissolve pretty dang fast. It doesn’t have a terrible taste. Tastes like a little freeze dried fruit… which one?! Well I don’t know, a raspberry maybe? Anyway, after that, go lick a lemon!! Eat a strawberry or my personal favorite, eat sumo orange. Dear almighty!!!! I cant eat those any other way now. True story.

Does not work and you can't return it.
This item can not be returned. These do not work. I took apple cider vinegar after I ate it and it still tastes sour.

An interesting novelty. That's about it.
First, as a fruit, by itself, this is surprisingly pleasant. If I had a snack that tasted just like this, I'd buy it. What I bought was a foil packet with dried "berry" halves, about the size of peas, that you are supposed to chew or let dissolve in your mouth so that a half hour later, whatever sour thing you eat will taste sweet. It does indeed accomplish that. As a novelty, it's worth trying. I'm going to pass around the rest of this at a gathering. I'm glad I tried it once. I personally don't see it as a weight loss strategy, to make it easier to substitute sour things for sweet ones, which is I think what sellers imply. But then again, I'm someone who likes lemon juice without sugar. It might possibly make very sweet things seem inedibly sweet, if that's someone's purpose. But the sweetening effect didn't vanish as quickly as it promises, and my dinner that night of pasta with tomato sauce was way too sweet, too. The effect was gone by the next day, so no harm done.

Fun novelty/party gag
Fun novelty item for party games/conversation, but far too expensive for any purpose outside of that. Two pieces are much more effective than one. That makes it $1 every time you use them. I can't imagine how much that guy on shark tank consumed to be at all effective for weight management...but pretty sure they also said it costs them less than $3 to make. The positives, they really do change sour flavors to sweet, and the taste texture isn't too bad at all. Good for a laugh or stupid human trick. Make someone bet you $20 you can't eat a whole lemon without flinching. Sneak these on the sly and you just made $20. However, there is conflicting information in their own literature. It says it lasts 15-20 minutes or 30-40. I personally found two pieces were good for about 20 minutes. Since it's a novelty item and I don't want my taste to change for too long, that's not necessarily a bad thing, just of note. Interesting stuff but probably a one time purchase unless I'm in charge of a party activity. The price point just ain't it.

You chew one of these berries before you eat or drink something that does not taste good and it makes it taste good. Lemons to Lemonade! I’ll buy again and again.

Tried these 2 times. Both time chewed 2 halves. Did absolutely nothing to change or enhance the flavour of anything. I’m extremely disappointed as I was hoping that these would help since I have lost a lot of my taste sense due to chemotherapy. I thought these would help but I was sadly disappointed ☹️. And not eligible to return
