I have been very pleased with this dog tag. The engraving is done well and is very easy to read. Other people notice it and know my dog's name right away, and I feel much more secure knowing that my name and phone number are right there on the back side in case my dog ever gets lost. The tag itself is super shiny and is very reflective, making it easy to see my dog at night as any light reflects brightly on the shiny surface. My dog has been wearing his tag for quite a while now (maybe a year?) and the hoop that fastens it to his collar is quite strong and has never broken or come loose no matter what my dog is getting into. I am more than happy with my choice in purchasing this dog tag and would buy again if I ever get another furry family member.

UPDATE: The provided ring to attack tag to collar broke less than a month after having it on Ruby, so I just bought some small cheap ones to use. The tag itself shows some minor scratching but nothing obscuring the lettering. Still happy enough with it that I’m waiting on a second one for my Heeler mix!I’ve always done the in person laser etching at pet stores for ID tags so I’ll admit I was wary of ordering one online. I spent literally hours reading reviews before deciding on this one and I’m so happy with it! The etching is clear and easy to read, the tag itself isn’t flimsy like some, the ring to attach it to the collar is provided, and it doesn’t even make a lot of noise against the collar. It hasn’t been on my Collie mix long enough to accumulate any wear and tear but it’s already lasted longer than the store-inscribed tag on my Heeler… and was about $10 cheaper! I’ll be getting a replacement for her in the near future and if they last as long as I think they will, GoTags has a loyal customer for as long as they’re in business!

This tag is by far the sturdiest and nicest one I've ever purchased. I've had dogs my whole life and their tags were "just fine" and still mainly readable (but scratched and scuffed) until they passed on at 13 and/or 14 years of age. I'm down to one dog now, and with a new address, decided to order through this company based on the description they provided for engraving and optional text sizes. I received the tag (very carefully wrapped and packaged) within the week, and it's far more durable (one can feel the weight!) with flawless, deep engraving. The text size on each side is just perfect. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to find a shiny and classy tag that will last the dog's entire lifetime. Quite a reasonable price given the product's quality.

These tags are far more durable than any I've seen. Others seem to get lost on dogs that spend a lot of time outdoors. If other tags manage to stay on a collar, they become unreadable over time.One of our dogs has been wearing one these for a couple of years. Still on her collar, and still easily readable. Another bonus is that these hold more info than a lot of other tags.Highly recommend these. Just ordered another for our newest dog addition.My one complaint is about the shipping. The seller shipped first class with no tracking number. We mistook the packaging for junk mail and didn't realize we'd even gotten it. But they did ship it promptly.

Now when I run around in the woods, I have, attached to my collar, a light that goes on and dazzles me at night, a bell which tinkles and keeps all the squirrels away ( very frustrating!) and this metal label which She seems to think is important but which I don't understand. I also have to wear an orange hankie round me neck which I keep trying to shake off but it keeps getting found and put back on. Mind you, I do get a treat every time I let Her put it on without me barking, so I don't mind the orange hankie so much. What I want to know is, where is my agency in all this? Am I a mere accessory, a lifestyle choice? A trophy dog? When do I get to own my life, to sit with my emotions, to realise my potential, to dream, to aspire, to fall and rise again? Are my needs being met? I don't mean my needs for squeaky toys, I mean the deep, unacknowledged, unbridled wildness of me, which unchecked by Her would bring me to full Doghood, the magnificent squirrel-savaging, chipmunk-chopping, rabbit-ravaging beast I am destined to be. This tag looks great. It's a little smaller than I thought (1") but I just didn't read the size they listed. I got only the name on one side and used the 2nd side for the name and phone number. It's all very easy to read. I suggest for a stylish look, put just the name on one side so it will be bigger. I would definitely buy this again.

Gives me peace of mind when taking my German Shepherd Dogs hiking. I go in the wintertime when no one else normally goes so I can let my dogs run loose. But even though they are very obedient, I just feel better knowing if somehow, we got separated, they have all the info. some needs to notify us.

Purchased from seller in the past. Loved the items. Delivery was on prompt. Fast forward 2 yrs very disappointed this time I never recieved my item. Even though the purpose for ordering has passed. I'm holding out that it will eventually arrive. Because of the quality. Also wish the tracking was better.

Lovely looking but not engraved, rather printed. Its been on for two months now and hasn't worn away yet, but it's still not as described. Also it took a long time to deliver as I hadn't realised it wasn't in the UK. It's doing the job for now though and it isn't exactly pricey, so still gets ok stars from me.

I ordered two of these to tie to the front of memory boxes for my daughters. Well made, exactly what I was looking for. Well worth the cost. They took about five weeks to arrive as they were shipped from America, but I wasn’t in a hurry for them.

The item seemed great to start with and we were really happy, but we went for one of our walks (only weeks since we received it) returned home and discovered some of the engraving has faded! Not a happy bunny.

Takes ages to arrive but it's lovely, very clear information on it, well made.
