It works!
Works a treat, I've used a few different coolant leak products from different brands one of which I used to use that costs about 5 times the price of this product. Then when my head gasket went and my usual go to brand failed to work I thought I would try this as last resort for the sake of 8 quid. Every morning when I started my campervan there was clouds of smoke pouring from the exhaust and starting to get worse. Anyway I poured this in not really expecting anything to happen went for a drive then come back home and left the engine running with the heaters on for half hour switched the engine off then went in the house and forgot all about it. Anyway next morning went out to pop to the shop started the engine expecting a load of smoke like usual low and behold not a single bit of smoke, 3 months and counting still no sign of the usual smoke or lose of coolant I was having to top coolant level up every 4/5 days before and not a drop since using this. As a side note if your cooling system is pressuring/bubbles in the header tank you cant simply pour and go like it says on the front. It's a bit more of a faff on removing heater plugs or spark plugs 1 by 1 I didn't have this problem but if that's what you're experiencing this is what you will need to do.

Can NOT speak highly enough of this stuff.... kept me on the road for almost 18 months..!!!!
Absolutely brilliant. Radiator started to leak about 18 months ago, so put this stuff in ***YOU NEED TO PUT IT IN WHEN THE ENGINE IS COOL***.Ran my trusty Fiesta - driving through a day job and then fast food deliveries at night (you don't hang about either..!) and this stuff kept my radiator sealed tight with not a drip for 18 months. I carry a bottle of this stuff in my boot all the time.Just 2wks ago noticed the heater got a little hot.. popped the bonnet and sure enough, after 18 months and covering probably 30'000mls... the Holts Gold Radweld finally conceded... but only a mild breach, there was no coolant 'pouring' out anywhere.This stuff is quite literally worth it's weight in gold. I now keep 2 in my boot.. (only needed the one for app 30'000mls so not sure why lol).. and i recommend this product in the strongest possible way.

Pin hole leak in overflow tank, sorted!.
Had a pin hole leak in my overflow tank so thought I would give this a try before replacing it.Followed the instructions on the back ( used half the bottle ) and let the car get to temp for 30 mins.Set off to work (20 miles) and no leak!TBH even with all the good reviews I still had my suspicions, but 1month later it’s still doing brill!.Only reason for 4 stars is how well it’s works long term.Will update!.

Excellent Stuff
My 2002 Ford Fiesta was leaking coolant like crazy, I would fill it up from way below min up to max and it would be back below min again within a week. Wasn’t overheating but was still worrying. Spoke to my mechanic neighbour who told me about this stuff so thought I’d try it as I’m a student and don’t have the money at the moment for a garage trip. The reviews were sceptical but thought I’d give it a go. I emptied half of the bottle into the coolant tank, then topped up with coolant and then started the car and left it ticking over with the heater on full for 25 mins. That was 2 weeks ago and my coolant hasn’t moved a cm! Very impressed! I realised afterwards that I forgot to shake the bottle before I poured it in but it has still worked like a dream!

Saab 9-3 Aero 2008 210bhp MkII
I had a Leak somewhere in my radiator or pipework, I had not inspected it further than lifting the bonnet. I bought this 3 months ago and followed the instructions.Three months later..So far I've had no more warning lights of low coolant! I can assume this has worked as this was the only product I used to address this. TIPS..Shake well! because it's like a sludgey red mixture, and once shaken, shake some more! It really needs some work. Then pour into your radiator expansion tank to the fill line. I drove for about 25 minutes after to let it circulate then checked the level the next day. It was at the same level, meaning no leaks as of yet. Fast forward 3 months still no leaks / consumption of coolant!I still have half a bottle left I didn't even use it all and it worked.Always follow the instructions on the label.In my experience this product has saved me from a potential expensive repair bill! if in a doubt try this and do your own research too. Best wishes.

Worth a try, but not guaranteed to work
I purchased this hoping it would fix the leak in my Mk4 golf GTI. I followed the instructions word for word. It seemed to work, but the next morning there was a big puddle where it had drained out overnight. Did not work for me sadly.

Fixd my car water leak!!
Perfect! Had a water leak on my car radiator , all my antifreeze was coming out ,possible leak from elsewhere also…. But as a quick fix this sealed it all, holds all the antifreeze in my water tank and doesnt come out of the leaking radiator , 3 months later and its still going strong…

Pour it in, top up, run car for 20 mins. Fixed!
Half a bottle is one dose. Put it in the coolant reservoir and top up with coolant, run the car for 20 mins with the heater on heat and full. Job done.Had an issue with losing 1/3 of coolant with no leaks each week for 2 weeks. Used this, works great. No mess. No issues. There will be some water under the car after running it for 20 mins. That's normal. Coolant level is now fine and hasn't gone down at all. Been 3 months.Friend had the same issue. Fixed their car too as I had the 2nd half of the bottle left. They were v impressed too.

I just am curious as to how the water arrived there, as it does not sound like an engine coolant leak, so my answer would be no, in this case. It is something that requires looking at, obviously - and by a mechanic, since there may be a way for this to occur. I have never encountered it - the closest was having the plugs bathing in an oil bath, for some reason - we never did figure out exactly why - but water?? My apologies, I cannot assist further - I would be hot-foot to my SAAB people, tho' I might have a look around first to see if there is another source for that troublesome fluid!! That's is all I can say. Good luck - Ross."}},{"@type":"Question","name":"What is the quantity in the plastic container?","acceptedAnswer":{"@type":"Answer","text":"If you read the info sheet it tells you 250ml"}}]}]}
