All pros no cons
I know most reviews here contain pros and cons but in this case there are only pros. It's a question of usage and, for my puposes it's perfect, I wanted to feed an HDMI signal into it as part of a community cinema set up.It is being used in conjunction with an HDMI splitter box and signal amplifiers that send a signal to a ceiling mounted projecter that then projects onto a 16'x 9' screen on a community hall. This monitor enables us to see the two images leaving two blu ray players prior to the audience seeing anything on the big screen. For this operation the monitor is perfect. Image is crisp and colours saturation is excellent. Audio is, pretty much as you may expect from a tiny speaker; remote is small and simple and sensitive to the touch - so easy to use with the unit. The unit is well packed and it was operating within two minutes of unpacking. Plug in the HDMI plug into the mains (13amp plug and rather short lead provided) and hey presto, there's your picture. There are some other bits in the box, lead to connect to car battery etc. which I didn't need.I surveyed the market throughly before opting for this unit and I have to say it us by far the best priced HDMI monitor I could fined.Strongly recommended. Excellent service from shipper; package arrived a day earlier than expected.

mini monitor
little bargin! use it as a monitor for a raspberry pi. Quality is spot on and can be used as a tv with with a separate tuner or and external dvd player etc. Remote control works well and sound is not tinny. Cheap and certainly cheerful

Does not work with Mac Mini
Just a heads up for those who might want to use this with a Mac Mini (OS 10.9.5). Using HDMI it refused to work for me. Logging into the Mac with Screen Sharing showed the Mac thought it had an attached screen with a resolution of what appeared to be 640x480 i.e. 3x4 not 16x9, however no matter what I tried this monitor refused to display any video so had to return it. If you can find a useable HDMI to VGA adaptor that *might* work (that was a bridge to far for me), but I wouldn’t bank on it. Other than that it looked to be solidly made, if a bit ‘chunky’, and had all the cables, including HDMI etc.

Good value for money monitor
This was purchased as a monitor for my Annke CCTV system. The monitor seems well made for the price with one exception which I will come back to. There are sockets for power, HDMI, VGA and AV and buttons on the front for power and input selection. There is a small remote control which is easier to use than the front buttons and allows setting up colour, resolution, etc. An adjustable stand is provided plus a selection of leads and a mains adapter. The monitor itself is impressive, particularly considering the low price. The image is clear and sharp with good colour with plenty of adjustment for brightness and contrast. It is quick to fire up when turned on on and is unobtrusive on the corner of my desk. The only weakness is the fitting for the stand. A thin steel strip is screwed the back and bottom of the monitor. This provides a slot on the back for a stand which is not supplied and a standard camera 1/4 inch thread on the bottom for the stand which is supplied. The design failure is that there are no screws holding the strip to the monitor which are in the area of the 1/4 inch thread. This means that when adjusting the angle of the screen it is easy to bend the strip away from the base of the monitor - and not so easy to bend it back. The stand itself is basic but it works. The base is purposely made of thin material as the idea is to bend it to the contours of a car dashboard and use the supplied shaped double sided tape to hold it in place. Ir's OK as a table stand but I think I will change it for a small camera table tripod. Finally the cables. I have used both the HDMI and VGA. Both result in a good image on the monitor but the VGA makes poor contact with the connected device resulting in interference. I am not sure if this is a problem on the socket on my cctv or the plug on the lead as I now use the hdmi anyway. Now for star rating. Overall it does what I bought it for but the design of the 1/4 inch socket is a design fault. The remote, charger and hdmi leads all do their job as does the stand although its a bit flimsy. The problem with the vga cable may be the cctv socket. value for money is good but the poor design of the 1/4 i inch socket, especially for something that could be knocked about on a car dash is enough to drop one star.

Good start but it didn't last......
I have to say I am really pleased with this for what it costs. I use an old Apple TV plugged in to an amp to stream music and wanted a way to easily access and configure it without connecting it to the TV in another room. This does the job perfectly. I wouldn't want to watch movies on it or listen to music through it but for my needs it was perfect. Also, it comes with VGA and HDMI cables which was a pleasant surprise. Seems generally quite robust although I doubt that the stand will take much abuse!Update: Sad to report it lasted only a year! Now the HDMI input doesn't work.
