I love this product ! I have blonde long , & thick hair & had a little mess up with highlights & it literally fixed it ! It gives a great shine , helps control frizz , and gives my naturally curly hair more definition . If I straighten my hair it leaves it looking fuller ! I can't say enough about how well it works & completely cleans residue . I sometimes co wash with this or leave in overnight . I add argan , coconut , & Castor oil after I rinse and it helps prevent damage and also seems to enhance how this mask works ! We all are different with our hair but as for mine it's awesome !! Remember you might have to do some trial & error if you feel it's weighing your hair down . It could be your using to much and you that felt it was drying could not be using enough. Also , watch what shampoos your mixing with it or other styling products . Let this get good and rinsed first with cool water and shampoo later because it's completely gets things out you wouldn't realize that your hair collected . Also air dry your hair . Look at your ingredients on it as I found none to be drying it might be on others . Another tip is I have applied it to my hair while dry for 10 min then rinsed out . It sometimes makes it easier to apply ! I hope you get the results you wish to achieve:))

Always had problems with itchy flaky scalp but this product has been great and my scalp doesn't bother me anymore! This is my routine, maybe it will help you too :I first wash with Hask charcoal shampoo and use a shampoo brush, then I use the mask. No conditioner.I make sure to rub it in on my scalp, at the roots of my hair and rub it through to the ends. Then I use a detangling comb (FROMM Ion detangling comb), put up in a hair tie and leave the mask on for 15 min. Rinse with warm water (not hot) and put my hair up in a microfiber towel to dry.After some time in the towel I use All Eyes On Me 10 in 1 perfector by Not Your Mother's and then a wide tooth comb.Style as desired or dry naturally

I have waist length hair that very rarely has products added to it, but gets oily by the scalp. This can easily lead to build up with such long hair. I added this to my hair in the shower, tied it up, and did everything else for ten minutes for it to sit. I wish this product was in a bottle rather than a jar. It’s thick, and smells kind of weird. It’s not an unpleasant smell, but unique. The results were my hair was really soft and bouncy for the rest of the day. It was okay. I don’t know that I’d go after this item specifically for my hair, but there were no ill effects. I liked how soft my hair was for the days after.

I recently had to quickly transition from blue hair back to natural color for a job... well I ended up damaging quite a bit of my hair in the process. With my hair and ego destroyed, I’ve been on emergency damage control. Instead of spending hundreds on repairing shampoo, I’ve been doing DIY deep conditioning treatments, mostly coconut oil (which I feel hasn’t done much). I bought this to add to my nightly deep conditioning routine and I can’t believe to have improvement just after one use. My hair isn’t nearly as frizzy and unmanageable. I don’t feel like hiding my hair under a beanie! I will be buying this from now on.

I love clarifying products, but this dried my hair out so bad, I think it's at a point of no return. It smells great though

This product leaves my hair not only with a weird smell but SO hard to brush through.. i dont know what about it but it like strips everything nice from my hair and makes it squeaky and just terrible feeling.

What first drew me to this product was it’s claim to make hair more healthy, soft, and strong. After one use I felt that my cool blonde started to look gold/yellow. For some this may be fine, but I personally do not like the yellow blonde look. Upon doing further research I discovered that it is supposed to make hair appear more golden..If you have cool tone blonde hair this is not the product for you.

Worked really well for my hair. I have dyed blonde ends, which tend to feel like straw, but conditioning usually makes the rest of my hair feel greasy. I felt this product conditioned without leaving a greasy feel. The smell was ok, nothing to strong.
