It doesn't help to loss body fat on its own but it helps to maintain and growing muscle. In order to do all the above, consume less calories and supplement it with 1g/ body kg of this whey protein.

Recommend me a weight gain to use with this ideally low in sugar?

Recommend soya milk with some bananas, it’s absolutely fab!

Does it contain the 9 essential amino-acids?
