Very sharp for the first two or three days after I bought it - including chopping tomatoes without squishing them. Not so after that. It still cuts the tomatoes. But! I still like the knife because it gives a clean cut to all other vegetables, fish, meat etc. the handle is made of plastic like material.The knife has been in the dishwasher a few times and I have been regularly using it for the past few months and I really like it and it’s durable.I real appreciate this knife when I use the regular grocery shop knives and then use this again. There is so much of a difference between them. I had bought another knife from the same company and liked it. So bought this one and I am not disappointed.

Love the knives!! Easy to use, good grip, cleaver is sharp enough to cut through (even frozen) bones and meat, with minimal effort.

Gave as a Christmas gift and had a chance to use them right out of the box....well balanced...sharp as ever and contruction is very well built....so go I ordered a set for myself....definite a good product

The handle is rugged and comfortable. The blade is a little heavier than my other similar size knives. Which makes cutting easier. It does not have the same thin cutting edge as my Japanese chef knives, but it still cuts evenly.
