Persian Setar Sehtar with Hard Case

I just received this setar and am quite pleased. It tunes up nicely since the tuners operate smoothly. It plays easily and the tone is perfect. I had purchased other instruments from Sala and was happy with them, so I trusted them to send me a good setar, which they did.The hard instrument case is protective, but not heavy. The shipping was quick and the packaging was professional. The frets are well-placed to allow for good intonation, while the sound and sustain is just as I hoped it would be.

Very fast shipping from Turkey! Great for beginners, I have nothing to compare it to, however. Used a tuner app and got it tuned easily. Case is great. Can’t wait to learn my first instrument.

It was as described and is a beautiful setar. It is not the exact setar pictured but seems to be the same quality model and stain. Only differences are in ornamentation. My new favorite lute. Thank you so much.

It sounds cool i broke a string tuning it probly my fault

I like this sectarian it is used in Herat province of Afghanistan . But I play tan pot which strings and voice .
