Really enjoyed this book off the back of Vulcan 607 made a great follow up by one of the captains of the blackbuck victors

Excellent reading, from the author. So interesting as I too worked on the Victor Fleet. A MUST BUY.

The story of a pilot who spent most of his career in the air refuelling business which is often the Cinderella of the RAF. Written in an easy to read style it covers not only the dry facts but includes personal reminisences. Bob's exchange tour with the USAF brings out the differences between the British and American approaches to aviation in a way that is easy to understand. All in all, a good read to any studenbt of modern military aviation.

as an engine fitter on victor mk1 1955 - 1960 I found this book the best read of the year

Very interesting & of note some names mentioned are some of those "forgotten" members of the R.A.F. Well known for their professionalism & fortitude.
