4 stars - aaargh...
I've given series one and two 5 stars. This series I've only given 4 stars. At the end of series 2 the Kaiba corp blimp was heading to the battle city finals. Then we head off at a tangent and meet a boy called Noah. This entire story arc is completely out of place here. OK its a good story and my only minor gripe is the rule change for deckmasters, whose special abilities seem to be made up almost as they go along. However good it is it just makes no sense to stick it in the middle of the battle city story line, so we spend 25 episodes holding our breath for battle city to recommence. When it does arrive the finals are awesome. Maybe there are too many magic cards I've never heard of but that doesn't spoil the entertainment. The last two episodes don't have any duels. The final episode is mainly a retelling of Joey's duels for Serenity's sake and is completely forgettable.I just can't go to 5 stars with a storyline that broken up.
