Excellent value for money
I was using a 4c Yamaha for around a year, as my embouchure developed the tip opening became to small I bought this Rico 5b to try and yes it was a tight fit,however the tone is incredible, much better than mouthpieces I have tried costing five times as much,I play in a saxophone collective and all are impressed,it has totally transformed the sound of my sax,I would recommend these mouthpieces to anyone.

Better than a Yamaha 4C!
I'm new to playing the saxophone and was told to start with a Yamaha 4C mouthpiece on my alto saxophone. I just couldn't get on with it, I felt I was not in control of the tone produced by the Yamaha 4C and went thru a variety of reeds and ligatures. Then someone recommended I try a Rico B5 Graphonite mouthpiece as an alternative, the difference was immediate, I've never heard my saxophone sound so good and I was able to play notes from high C to low C. Don't always be pushed into getting what is believed to be best for a beginner, do as I did and research for a better mouthpiece, you will see immediate results.

Inexpensive but decent. Just wish it had come with a ligature.
I was using the plastic mouthpiece that came with my sax. Was sure I should have been starting to sound better by now. Swapped it for this one and it made a noticeable difference 😁

It's OK
The only real problem I have with this mouthpiece is that it is so tight to fit over my alto sax neck that the cork at the end of the neckpiece has started to flake off even though I always use cork grease before fitting it. The mouthpiece that came with my sax, slides on no problem at all.

May get used to it.
I bought a second hand Sax and thought I would buy a new mouth piece for it. I don't think that it sounds as good as the one I had but that might just be that I am used to the original one.

Buen producto. Ideal para principiantes con cañas Rico del 2 de dureza. Con abrazadera metalica va bien. Mejor que Yamaha 4C. Falta el suspensor para apoyar los dientes. Va muy bien.

I am a complete beginner learning Alto sax. But in my opinion it is of good quality and is good option for the beginner/intermediate player
