Ready-to-use Metallic Dark Gold 100% Edible Food Paint for Cake and Icing Decoration by Rainbow Dust

I was very happy with this edible gold paint because it is a thicker consistency giving great coverage over rolled fondant. I needed it for a robot cake. It painted on smoothly.

This paint was absolutely perfect for my daughters 7th birthday cake! I used it to define the fault line and it was so beautiful to work with! I have a Bachelors of Fine Arts backed with 4 years of painting and, let me tell you, I wish I had paints like this to work with in college! The paint poured out of the bottle like liquid gold. It loaded onto the brush with ease. It was smooth and glowed during application, and dried quickly, giving it a gold leaf finish. And I didnt even taste it! It was too easy and really took my first time fault line cake to a professional level. Everyone asked where I had got it and when I said "I made it!" they were so impressed! My co worker thought I had used gold leaf, but nope! It was this amazing edible paint! I can't wait to use it to make my Valentine cookies! I highly recommend this product for professionals and amateurs to really put that perfect finishing touch on any treat!

This stuff is a miracle! I made it go even further, while not losing quality or opacity, by using a bit of vodka. That addition also helped it to not dry out too fast. (You can make it more sheer by adding more alcohol/lemon extract too). I fought for years with trying to get the perfect ratio of alcohol to luster dust while alwaysbeingdefeated. This took that frustration right away! I know what I'll be using here forward!

It's beautiful, has amazing coverage, and DOES paint chocolate! Paints well on dark and light colors; I used the silver for painting frozen buttercream. I love that this stuff is edible, and it will not make your brushes goopy or stiff! The product also arrived much earlier than expected, so that was a big bonus! I HIGHLY recommend this stuff, and hope to see more colors added soon, including matte, because I plan to buy them all!

My gosh! I'm so impressed! I ordered 4 days ago and had a arrival day between May 11th and June 9th. I received both the dark gold and the baby pink. Super fast shipping. I did a quick swatch from the cap and I know these candies are going to turn out great. This food paint is so pigmented and if your a make-up junkie like me you could even use as a hilighter in a pinch they are very beautiful and don't regret this purchase one bit. I just got back on Amazon and ordered 2 more rainbow dust metallic paints from this seller! No more messing with powders and vodka to get the bling look on my sweets!

I like this product. It is highly metallic edible food paint and easy to work with, so no problems there. The only thing that kept it from being a 5-star is the fact that the Dark Gold is definitely more like a Bronze than a Gold. Next time I will purchase the Gold, unless I happen to want bronze. Seller is fast and the item was received in perfect shape.

I use it on alot of my treats. Works well and I love that pop of color!

The bottle itself actually has no ingredients on it. I tried this because I ran out of my other brand, and this one genuinely feels like paint. Most of the time these food-based paints, can easily be washed off of surfaces because they are not actual paint or permanent in any way. This one however would not come off of hardly anything. You can also typically water these down with vodka to do drips but when I tried to do it with this product and not my usual It just did not work. I'm honestly not even convinced it's food safe.

Usato per trasformare dei biscotti in dobloni da pirata e l’effetto è stato stupendo. Ne è bastato davvero pochissimo mischiato ad una goccia d’acqua. Mi è rimasta praticamente tutta la boccetta che si può usare per decorare torte e simili.

this is probably one of the best edible paints I have in my cake box. It's not a brassy, tarnished colour, it is pure gold. Easy to use. Cannot be applied too thickly. Brings any decoration to life. I've even painted it over the top of royal icing writing to finish of the cake. For the price, this has to be a must in any cake decorators box of tricks!
