Just finished upgrading the food bowl stands for senior dogs, and got this for the water bowl. Two large sections lets you raise it to the right height and it's a breeze to take apart, wash, and dry. Game changer for the 4-leggeds.

I have a small dog that has long legs. As he grew, we noticed that he was sitting to eat. It was clearly difficult for him to eat from the bowl on the floor. The small bowls that tilt and raise the bowl a couple inches weren't enough height and the angle wasn't helpful. This bowl comes apart, easy for wash in the dishwasher and assembled, it's the perfect height.

The raised feeder itself does its job well. It has a clean, sleek look to it and is fairly compact and will fit in pretty much any space. The downside is that the bowl that comes with it is very shallow, which is fine if you're using it for food but it doesn't hold very much water.

Bought this for my senior chihuahua, it’s a little taller than expected. But really helps him eat his food easier. This bowl set is really sturdy and easy to clean.

The height is perfect for my older Boston Terrier. She had cancer surgery and it permanently weakened one of her back legs. When she has to bend down to eat, she has to constantly readjust her leg as it keeps sliding back. I know that sounds strange . But after observing her for awhile I knew I had to raise her food bowl. This was the perfect solution for her. She now eats comfortably and no more sliding back leg..

This bowl works perfectly for my Miniature Pinscher. She has long legs and would often have difficulty with lower bowls. This bowl has made it easier for her to eat. The removable metal insert makes cleaning a breeze.

This bowl makes it much easier for my 16 yr old dog to eat. I like the stainless removable bowls that are easy to clean. I purchased two. I recommend this dog bowl.

I got this because the dogs bowl was so small she kept pushing it under the couch. I wish it was just a once piece base, though. The pup got a hold of it and chewed and hell out of it. I guess that's not the fault of the product, though.
