It Works!
I was skeptical about repairing my own microwave. GE Monogram ZEM115SJ2SS. It is a countertop model. It was making a fan noise when door was open then it stopped coming on at all however it still had power and lights. I googled the issue and based on articles I found it sounded like the door switches were the issue. I found You Tube videos showing how to replace them. GE does not make my model microwave anymore and I didn’t want to invest in a different one yet as we are preparing to remodel kitchen and will be installing a microwave drawer. The instruction video was not exactly specific to my model but between it and the GE specs I found online it was easy enough to figure out (screws were in different places). 30 minutes of my time and 2 door switches and I now have a working microwave again.
