FreeRide Thule 532 Bike Cycle Carrier Roof Rack Bar Mounted x2 Twin Pack - Inc T-Track Fittings

Having purchased some cheaper bars, that where to say the least crude and sharp, I opted for these, was surprised at the price that they were Thule. I have assembled, and actually found it quite easy albeit just pics and no words in instruction. They are simple to assemble. I have an oval bar with a T track in it and they fitted superbly. What impressed me is a) Two locks, 1 to lock the carrier to the rack and one to lock the bike onto the carrier b) well made, no sharp edges and light weight, c) easy to adjust for to the roof rack, i.e. no bolts or screws, just slide the fitting along. Once assembled, the work is done, no fiddling around with screw drivers etc, just hand clamps to lock to the roof rack. Can’t comment on using these on other roof racks that don’t have the t-bar fitting , but the extra bits are there if you don’t have a t-bar type fittingThe proof will be in the pudding as I am yet to try them with bikes on, but don’t see an issues with this brand when I do so.

Easy to fit. Solid and secure. Very impressed.

Once you work out the set up , it’s easy to take off and put on again, easy to clamp bike to the racks..
