I can’t recommend these highly enough. Seems like a higher quality product than my regular brand and now a full convert. Allow 10 days or so to ‘kick in’ and benefit you system, but once in I felt a better overall well being and mood improvement.

I ordered these for several reasons. Firstly my husband has high cholesterol. Secondly they are manufactured to a high standard here in the UK, and thirdly they are a great price without compromising quality. Bergamot is a citrus fruit that grows primarily in southern Italy. Supplementing with bergamot may help reduce inflammation, lower blood glucose and cholesterol, and help prevent cardiovascular disease. Citrus fruits such as bergamot are rich in flavonoids, which promote immune response and heart health. These are potent antioxidants too which will protect the tissues and blood vessels throughout your body by blocking free radical damage and inhibiting the formation of arterial plaque. This large tub contains 180 servings which is 6 months! There’s a good 2 years date on them. These capsules are easy to swallow and do not leave any aftertaste or have not had any adverse effects. Obviously my husband has only been taking them a short period of time but so far so good. I have been diagnosed as being pre-diabetic and so have been trying to improve my diet and my lifestyle in an effort to reduce my blood glucose levels, lose some pounds band generally improve my health. I had not previously been aware of Citrus Bergamot as a health supplement so did a little research before trying them. I have been taking these 40% extract capsules from Freak Athletics for about two weeks so not very long and probably too early to tell if they are of benefit. I cannot confirm any cholesterol level improvement yet, however, my blood glucose levels have definitely been lower. Before taking these capsules, my average blood glucose levels were 7.2 mmol/L whereas, for the last 10 days, it has stayed at around 6.2 mmol/L. Of course, this may be coincidentally due to other factors, but it does seem encouraging. The first thing I noticed on opening the tub was a delightfully fragrant smell. They are quite large but easy to swallow singly, the recommended serving is 1 to 2 capsules per day and I take one at two different times. They have no discernible taste and I have not experienced any adverse side effects. I do seem to have a little more energy of late but that could be co-incidence or even just wishful thinking on my part. Apart from their effect on managing blood glucose levels, they are reported to reduce cholesterol and also have a beneficial impact on cardiac and liver function as well. We shall see, but if they live up to claims and expectations and make improvements to my health, then at £10 a month they are worth every penny.
