Works well for an iphone. It may need a bit more weight for an ipad.Original cable charge your phone with 50% more current which means you will get longer charging times when suing the dock. Tests: Original cable + apple power adapter: ~1.5 Amps . this iphone charging dock + apple power adapter: 1 Amps.It is made of plastic which it does not feel high quality although it feels strong. Having more weight it will help make it feel even better.The Lightening connector it is placed on a movable part which may help protect your iphone.Given the offer price less than £10 it is a good choice although I would not pay the full price £40 for it. It can get better with minor improvements mentioned.

I bought this in Jan 2019, this week for no known reason the cable is randomly not charging. Even when I ensure there's a connection with the phone and the charge symbol is on, if I leave it overnight, I can still wake up and the battery is drained. It only charges sporadically.

this product is great for face time while charging your phone and also making videos. you could even use it for just a stand. very helpful. its kind of sturdy, can wiggle a bit but good overall. sometimes it can be hard to put your phone in but this is great and i'm using it all the time. :) this also could be a nicer style. i love it though

It's plastic, but what do you expect for under a tenner. Charges and syncs my iPhone 6 with my iMac (even in it's thick leather case). Looks a million times better than a grotty cable on your desk.

Works great for about 2-3 days. After this you have to keep adjusting it to get a very very slow trickle charge. After about 2 weeks it completely stops working. Very bad product and advise everyone not to buy this

Worked for the first two days, then started to drain my battery rather than charge it. Plugged it in on 65% and half an hour later it was on 40%, even though it claimed to be "charging". Would advise spending a little more and getting a decent one

Ordered 2 of these 1 has been working fine plugged the second one and charged for 30s and stopped tried different plugs and confirmed the plugs with different lead and phone but unit was faulty.Customer service responded very quickly and have promptly refunded the faulty unit.

Very happy with this product. Works as expected and seems to be well made. Given full stars for durability but have only had it a day so far so will change review if need be
