This has worked great with all my guinea pigs!. I have bought multiple of these cause they work good. My pigs have never had any issues with these and it is very easy to clean.

These hold a lot of hay. They hook on the side of the cage and are made of strong metal bars.The major downside to these is the bars run vertical without any crossing bars. This means that if your animal is a "food digger", they can completely empty this hay holder in under a minute. This will waste your hay, at a rate that could be greater than 80%. That's the major downside with how these are made.But knowing this, I have still ordered multiple.To combat hay/food diggers, I add 1x2 mesh wiring to the inside of these. They can still pull some hay through and also eat from the top.

We’ve used the hay feeder for a couple of years and it’s held up well. The pigs don’t chew on it, and it holds enough hay for a couple of days.Helps keep the cage cleaner because the hay isn’t all over the floor.

I tried two other feeders before; and, this is my favorite. Unlike the ones with clips, this one just hooks onto any cage; and stays put. The detachable pellet tray is just the right size,easy to refill and easy for my guinea pigs to eat from - even the babies. Sturdy, all around good product.
