Very well done game! Wish there were expansions because it's so fun! Easy to learn we had our 6 yr pick it up easy. Highly recommend!

After the second game, I truly enjoyed it
The first time we started playing this.I didn't like it. But we kept playing, and after the second game, I got the hang of it, and it's quite fun. This is family friendly and doesn't take hours to play. The cards are durable and it's a good value for the money. Don't quit before you're done with the first two games.Try again you'll get the hang of it.And like it.

Quick, fun game, and great for travel
Super fun twist on the game of life. Its a quick game. I love that my husband and I can play just us or we can play with friends and family

Fun, a lot to digest, but my kids caught on quick!
This might just be my personal preference to playing the original Life game, but I thought there was a lot of moving parts for a card game. I wasn't that engaged, but that being said - my kids loved it (8 and 10). So I would say it's pretty fun for them and they have nothing to compare it to (the old game that I love and adore). It does take up quite a bit of space (so not great for airport, airplane, car ride), and it did take them a while to finish a game (20-30 minutes at least). I would recommend if you're a card game loving family...give it a shot and see how it goes. There are way worse games out there.

My guilty pleasure
Life Goals I have always enjoyed playing board games to the point that I played chess, Sorry!, Monopoly, and Jumanji against myself, sometimes even playing as 4 different player colors. Thankfully, I found a husband who helped me find more games, like Catan, Ticket to Ride, and Pandemic. Now I play a lot of other games, but sometimes I still enjoy a lot of easy, simple-to-learn-and-play, mass market games. Mass market games, or basically anything Hasbro makes, is generally looked down on. But I have a guilty pleasure: Life Goals. I've played this game more than 5 times - it is part of our cycle of short weeknight games. The game was on sale, and I thought, why not? Can't hate until I've tried it. This game isn't going to win any awards any time soon and it probably will be forgotten in history, but it is an easy game to play on a school night with a teenager - my 16-year-old cousin who has grown-up playing games. On a school night or work night, sometimes you just want an easy game where it doesn't matter who wins or loses; we just want a quick laugh before going to bed. So that's where this card game fits. Gameplay: Each player starts with a secret hand of 3 cards and 1 secret Lifestyle scoring card used at the end of the game. Life goals are drawn depending on the number of players,e.g. in a 3 player game, there are 3 Life Goals. These are public scoring objectives and when a player completes it, they immediately claim the goal which is worth points at the end of the game which cannot be taken from them. On your turn, you either draw a card OR you play a card. If you acquire a job, the number of cards you draw can change. And that's it! The game ends when all Life Goals are completed. Pros: -I like that the game is "updated". I like the newer jobs like Social Media Manager. Not everything is new, we still have doctor and policeman. -I like that the game is very quick - maybe 5 minutes per person. -Players choose when to end the game by completing the last Life Goal. -The symbols are very clear - There are two types of symbols per color and they have different functions at least for the Life Goals. The most thematic one is the college degree which is necessary for some jobs to be played. -Graphic design is appealing. Artwork is cute. -My favorite part is making up a continuous life story with every card I play. Even when I spend a card, it is incorporated into my story. You can imagine what my story is when I discard "Baby" for "Ski Chalet". (Check out my image for a super long story for the last game I played). Cons: -The Lifestyle cards, which is your secret scoring card, dictates the value of the cards played into your life (or your life decisions). For example, if your lifestyle is "Workaholic", all the career cards are worth the most points for you personally while family cards, including children, pets, and getting married, are worth the least to you. The cards are simple and thematic, but kind of boring in a way - I wish there was more pizazz. -The game can be lucky, but there is some light strategy. -The game has some prompts at the bottom which I completely ignore. Who is this game for? I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys the classic Game of Life. This game also works well for families. If you have played Monopoly Deal (a quick card game of Monopoly) you might also like this game as it has a similar concept of having some similar themes as the other game but distilled down to a quick card game that doesn't take up a lot of space, is faster, and works great as a travel game. I also would recommend this game if you enjoy light games and no-pressure storytelling. The storytelling is only as funny/fun as you make it to be. I think a lot of hobby board gamers would probably turn up their noses at this game, but whatever. I may eat at restaurants with no prices on the menus, but I can still enjoy ordering McDonald fries.

Fun! You have got to stay focused though!
Loveeeeeeee this! We ended up playing three practice rounds to get the hang of it. Ohhh but once we did, think of it as ... Family Game night ... Monopoly or Scrabble level type of fun! We ended up playing an additional 3 more rounds ... Lol fun! You have to definitely remember which Lifestyle card you have for the round. As each Lifestyle awards different points for the same cards. Also, keep a lookout for the Life Goals ... It's easy to miss once you get caught up in the game. Trust me ... Someone is definitely waiting for you to miss out on that opportunity! Ha! The game is great for a family night or friend's night in. Play with people who enjoy playing games, it can get competitive and trash talking can creep in lol 🤣 fun fun fun 🤏🏾!

It’s ok but not a favorite
A little confusing to get started. Need more than two players for most fun. My family played but not sure if they would request it again.

Lots of family fun!
We opened this game and played it right on Christmas Day. It was fairly easy to learn. We had a lot of fun with it. there was definitely some strategy involved in the game is you really had to think about your goals and what you were working for but a lot of luck from just the cards you got

This is a cute, fun little game. It is compact and will fit perfectly in my carry on bags for travel. The game itself is fun and easy to play, it’s a fun twist on the traditional board game.
