Beautiful illustrations and a heartwarming little story!

If you like the awww story or a warm fuzzy type story then you'll love this story. It is a love story about a pair of Northern Cardinals that get separated and then find each other. While it does deal with a time period of Christmas, it is a story that could be shared anytime. If you're from NYC or are familiar with it then you'll especially enjoy it. It's theme deals with true love, having faith and not giving up. My middle school students loved it.

Wonderful Christmas book!!

Being apart from family, friendship, finding the good in the bad are all themes of this Christmas story. The story is about the Rockfeller Christmas tree and two birds. My sons love the story and observing the wordless picture pages (there are a few).

Always add a new book or two to our children's Christmas library every year. This is a beautifully illustrated picture book that tells a charming story. Our youngest was concerned for the two birds when they were separated and we all enjoyed poring over the wonderful pictures.

Récit très drole Imagerie bien faite. Coloree Ce livre est en anglais je vais le lire et le raconter à mon petit fils..... Avec les images on comprend très bien l histoire Ce livre a été un coup de cœur !!
