Beautiful clock. Just got it today. I used a level. The pendulum doest hit the sides but mine has ticking sound. Not annoying but can't figure it out. I have tried 2 levels. I live 8n an 1890 house. The walls are a bit off. I only hear the ticking when there is no noise from TV or music. I live the clock. Really love it. Also be sure to take the film off the pendulum. I was upset because pendulum seemed scratched. Worked on it for half hour. Then realized I needed to take it off. I read directions too. Lol
