All 20 episodes from the second season of the animation set in the 'Star Wars' universe between the events of 'Revenge of the Sith' (2005) and 'A New Hope' (1977). With the rebellion against the empire in its infancy, the story follows Ezra (voice of Taylor Gray), a young orphan who finds himself caught up in the adventures of the fledgling rebels. Fantastic Season of REBELS!
The second season is pretty dark for the heroes, but it was exciting to view. I was jazzed to see Vader in more scenes and to hear James Earl Jones's distinctive voice. Vader is the bad guy you love to watch. I for one could have done without having D. Maul win a victory and was floored by some of chilling events in the episodes, especially pertaining to Kanan & Asohka. I am waiting with bated breath for Season three and to revel in how it all turns out. I appreciate the Extras/ Bonus features, like Rebels Recon, but I agree with a previous customer who stated, they could have allowed us more interviews with the cast , writers, etc. The series is addictive and you feel like you need more and more info/back story. My only pet peeve is have to stack the 2nd/3rd BD on top of each other in the case. The box/case cover with Darth Vader is simply smashing. My Amazon pet peeve was that pre-order was only open to Prime members, what's with that? Wal-Mart had a cheaper price after the release date. Otherwise, it has been lots of viewing pleasure owning the series.

Star Wars Rebels
Excellent stories. Better than some of the movies.

GOOD BUY
One of the reasons I like Rebels is the story lines. Despite being an animated CGI based series, the scripting was probably far better than any of the current stuff Disney is producing before they imploded. Picture quality is very good, and features are setup that you can look at behind the scenes when you want and if you want to binge watch the whole series or individual episodes. Also, since I have impaired hearing, i can enable that so subtitles are available. Worth the money.

Star Wars at its Most Transcendent!
While the first season of "Star Wars Rebels" focused on character introductions and setting the story in the larger "Star Wars" galaxy, season two approaches the sublime. The season begins with appearances from Darth Vader and Ahsoka Tano, the introduction of two new Sith Inquisitors, and further exploration of both the Force and the Empire's oppression. The episodes "Legends of the Lasat" and "The Call" both feature some of the most breath-taking visuals and perfect narratives while they expand the "Star Wars" galaxy beyond anything it's been in the new Disney canon so far. It's not enough that the occasional episode pushes the limit further than it ever needed to, the season also ends on one of the biggest, most intense lightsaber battles and explorations of the Light and Dark Sides of the Force with the return of Darth Maul, Maul and Kanan's competition for Ezra as an apprentice, and Ahsoka facing off against her former master. My only complaint about this blu-ray deals with the disc storage. This three-disc set stacks discs two and three on the same peg rather than insert a separate holder for one of them. Though the protection is decent, it's not the best way to store the discs.

I really enjoyed watching the Star Wars Clone Wars series
I really enjoyed watching the Star Wars Clone Wars series. I decided to give Rebels a try. After a few episodes I was fairly hooked on the series. I would recommend it for any Star Wars fan. There are some differences between the movies and the shows so there will be some liberties taken in the story lines. It does give you an idea of where it fits in the chronological order with the movies. They have inserted some known characters just add some familiarity.

Whole family loves this series.
Purchased as a gift for my 13 year old daughter. She's a huge fan. My 11 year old and 8 year old also love the humor, excitement and adventures of Ezra Bridger, Chopper and the entire Rebels team. Storylines are connected... great villans too. Our whole family has enjoyed this series together. Even my husband. With so little on tv that the whole family can enjoy, this is worth it. Great family entertainment.

AWESOME
Love the series. This season is great. However it's even better if you watched the clone wars. They bring back Ahsoka Tano who was Anakin Skywalker's apprentice in the Clone Wars. That's all I'll say. You can see her on the cover in the photo so it's not a spoiler. I enjoyed The Clone Wars and Rebels a lot more than the 3 prequel movies. If you are a Star Wars fan then you need this series and Clone Wars.
