Mattress sags after 3 months
Bought this mattress about a year ago, it inflated to proper size in about 3 hours and had a chemical smell for 2-3 days. After 3 months of sleeping, it started to sag quite a bit and now I have to rotate it every 3 months to get rid of sag. Now the sag won't go away anymore and is hurtful on my back which is the reason I bought it. I purchased it for $315 and now the price is $225. Very disappointed and will have to get another innerspring mattress.

Excellent from the start!!!
My bedroom’s ordinary size & my old mattress is still on the floor beside my bed, so I’m not sure how well these pictures show. But a few things to say. I received this at 12:15-ish in the afternoon, this afternoon of writing. It’s now nearing 3pm by a few minutes. A close friend of mine, set it up alone in about an hour, having to rest for long minutes at a time in between. I think the worst part is that it’s a hugely heavy mattress. It sure is. Unmovable for anyone or ordinary or weak strength alone. It simply unraveled out of the over-outer plastic covering and then we cut off the inner layer plastic, all while it was on the steel platform bed. It began expanding as soon as it was out of the first outer plastic so we had to get it out immediately of the second binding to finish expanding. This full expansion was taken at just 1 hour & 20 minutes about but it basically had nearly full expansion after 3 minutes. Amazing! In an hour & 20 minutes though — I bought a 12” very firm queen — it got a lot tougher in quality of fullness over the top. It is presently growing just over 10” now. I have to double check though, I might have actually only bought the 10”. I’m not sure right now. It doesn’t matter, it seems a fine height to me.The instructions say to leave it alone for 48 hours. I might leave it alone longer. I’m looking forward to trying it during the coming week. It’s a Friday afternoon now.As for odor, I’ve finally had a chance to understand what possibly the awful stories are about in part. There are two medium sized desiccate packets born into the inner locked compression plastic binding the mattresses from unlocking. I had no odor throughout the unpacking, until we unlocked the final plastic and found the two desiccate packets. Then there was some typical odor like that — a chemical picking up the odors if whatever it’s wrapped in. My friend doing the work didn’t smell anything. I sprayed Febreze over it & it also made the Febreze smell like the desiccate, so that’s definitely part of what’s at work with all these odors. It’s a shame, because different mattresses are made with different cloth closing materials & desiccate will give any clothe a chemical odor. But it’s nothing really that needs to be noted except that I wanted to comment on what I’d learned. Right now, the light, lingering faintness of it isn’t going to last past my Febreze spray from an hour ago. Right at this moment anyone walking into my apartment would probably only notice Febreze. So I hope to update this next week after I’ve slept on it, to find how it’s comfort is — should turn out be an excellent firm it seems; very hard to find type besides. And also to relate what size I bought & how large it expanded after so many days of waiting.A year and a half later…. The mattress has been excellently firm over the past time and never really caved anywhere significantly. It’s still firm and very comfortable. This is with regular night to night use in that time. About now only I’m starting to notice that where I sit sometimes propped up with my electronic device working, it’s taking shape of a smaller less firm indent. Only slightly.

More than expected
I was hesitant to buy a bed in a box But the price was right and the reviews were pretty good. It was not too hard to remove from the box and wrapping. Its a 100# and large so not super easy to maneuver by yourself but I managed. Once I cut the vac seal it immediately started to open up I say to fully see the expansion it was a good 12 hrs it also firmed up a little from the initial time I slept on it which to me was better. The only thing that I do not like and it might not be able to be fixed since it's sealed in a box are the sides are not as supportive I think I can get used to that

WARNING ‼️IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND WARRANTY INFORMATION OR CONTAT THE SELLERS/MANUFACTURERS‼️
The media could not be loaded. Last year when my son was in T he purchased this same mattress in a queen size. I visited and it was one of the most comfortable mattress i slept on for a long time. Therefore, when he moved he brought it north to replace the one in the home i was visiting, it was 20+ years old. However, the bed i was sleeping on was a full size so the queen he brought went into the basement for storage. Eventually, until i could afford to buy a full size i slept on the mattress he brought. A little more than a week ago, being very pleased with the queen Swiss Ortho Sleep 12”, I ordered the same in a full size. It was delivered earlier than expected..After 4 days I thought this was defective because1. It did not expand properly2. The perimeter going in about 10’-12’ had very little support.3. I could not sit on the mattress when getting on the bed to sleep or off without sliding off because it caved in.4. While the mattress seemed to have support in the middle, this mattress should be able to accommodate two people NOT just one in the middle. If not laying directly within the center section, not off to one side, I found myself rolling toward the edge of the mattress. That was extremely uncomfortable.5. When pressing down on the top or rolling over a kind of crunching sound could be heard. Not real loud but there.6. After selling on it (the softness combined with the firmness directly in the middle was fair to good) there wa a deep imprint in the top for about an hour until the foam/bamboo ‘topper’ expanded again. ALSO NOT ACCEPTABLE for a new mattress.DEFINITELY A PROBLEM EXISTS.I CONTACTED AMAZON ABOUT THE WARRANTY only to be taken to a general notification a warranty was available and no way to contact the manufacturer for a copy of the 10 year warranty Next option was to go to the phone to Amazon. The rep told me I had to return the item to get a full refund. I would have to box it up and Amazon would arrange a pickup from UPS. She said she would send contact information for the manufacturer by email. She was most pleasant as were all employees of Amazon. However, when I got the email there was no contact information for the mfg only a link to file for a return. The next day I again through chat actually received a phone call from Joy. She was amazing; yet she informed me I needed to connect with the department handling heavy returns. They were presently closed could I call tomorrow and ask directly for them. This morning I did just that and asked for a supervisor. The supervisor advised me UPS does not pick up expanded mattresses. I could contact the mfg for warranty processing but she could not give me any information other than what I already found on the internet, none of which put me through to customer service for SWISS ORTHO SLEEP which I found was a division of HOMEGOODS MANIA LLC out of Vernon CA. The only phone number was that of the COO and he never returned my calls. The Supervisor this morning offered me three options:1. Call the manufacturer (she could not supply me contact information other than whet I had02. Return the mattress for a full refund (I had to figure out how to do that.)3. I could keep the mattress and the maximum refund she could give was 35% (She further stated there was NO one higher up I could talk with.I decided 65% loss was little price to pay for a very valuable lesson.NEVER BUY ANOTHER MATTRESS OR LARGE ITEM FROM AMAZON! GO DIRECTLY TO A STORE!I told her I would leave a lengthy REVIEW of1. The Mattress with a warning buying it was like a ‘xxxc shoot” because there was apparently NO QUALITY CONTROL in Vietnam (the source of the product). I based purchasing the full mattress on the one I had at home not reviews. Looking over reviews there is no middle ground. Either the product is amazing or something that should be trashed or used for a kids bedroom ‘trampoline bed’ for little ones. NO IN BETWEEN!2. I would leave a review of AMAZON POLICY ON THIS TYPE OF PRODUCT WITH A WARNING - DON’T PURCHASE! I told her Amazon should NOT SELL this item any longer, their reputation will be hindered by what I deem a bad policy such as this.3. Everyone I talked with at Amazon were courteous and friendlySO THERE YOU HAVE IT! THIS IS THE FIRST OF THIS KIND OF REVIEW I HAVE EVER LEFT. THE DECISION TO BUY OR NOT BUY IS YOURS; HOWEVER, PLEASE TAKE THIS WARNING IT IS A ‘xxxx shoot” on what you get with the possibility of only getting a 35% refund and you have to find a way to dispose of the mattress.FTJ

love this!
I got this since it sounded like it would stay cool and it does! Much better than a foam mattress in that regard. It's a bit "Springy", but not a problem at all. Very comfortable and a good sleep. Great value!
